I'm 34 and feel at least 60 most days. Damn back injuries. I'd rather play with the older crowd. Or mature. Seems they go hand in hand. Not always though.

I don't talk much and I am a more laid back gamer. Most days I'd rather play solo but sometimes its nice to jump into the DZ, or a few missions, with a few decent people. If anybody wants to add me on PSN. Same as my forum name.

am I unique, I am 60+ and playing division. I would like to play with older players of like mind, are there any out there?
I'm 60 and on the X1. Feel free to add me, because I suck at shooters and leveling is hard! LOL GT= DLKnives

46 here and when I fix my PC (which decided to die after installing the latest Nvidia drivers and only 5mins of gameplay last night) I'll be happy to accept friend requests and see about teaming up.

YESSSS!!!! I'm so glad to see older people still play games! Only 35 now but I was getting worried that I would be the only old person playing games when I hit 60 as much of my friends "are growing up". Sounds more like "My life sucks and I have to say it".  Thank you for the inspiration and dedication. I will run with you any day.

I'm in my 50's and on XBox. Typically play more fantasy oriented (Witcher, Elder Scrolls, etc.) games and M:TG but am obsessed with The Division. I have had dreams about it the last three nights.

A downside for me, however, is that I am an FFL dealer and the only in game firearms that I have are the M9 and the Super 90, neither of which I use in game. The Kriss, which is my primary in game,  is not a platform that I am overly impressed with in the real world and would rather have seen them include the Sig MPX which is crazy accurate (despite all the v1 vs. v2 issues). Also would have liked to have seen a trigger mod as anyone who has shot with a Geissele or Timney trigger can attest to the huge difference it can make. More variations in scopes would also have been more realistic (e.g., 1-4x, 2-9x, 3-12x, 6-20x, etc.).

Another issue is camping rogues, but I don't even want to get started on that.

Lifelong gamer turning 49 this year,  started with Pong, had the console, upgraded to Atari 2600 and all subsequent game systems after. Got into gaming again with my 8 yo son on the 360 a couple years ago and played offline for most of a year. Then, I went online. Holy crap! Today's gaming experience with online multiplayer open world environments and awesome audiophile grade headphones, chatting with other like minded folks!!!! Way beyond the wettest dreams of a 70's teenage gamer!

I'm locomoconomo on xbone, if anyone would like to join me. I play for fun, I sure ain't no pushover, but I am always willing to learn a thing or three.

To speak to Risky kill's comment, its not about NEED.  Its about the natural tendency to gravitate towards the familiar.  I have a natural rapport with people of similar age because of similar life experience. My friend list, and indeed my regular circle of gamers is a veritable cross section of age, race, ethnicity, religious belief etc...  I enjoy playing with people who understand the concepts of fair play and mutual respect. You can find those qualities in people of any age and I'm glad to report that I do, quite frequently.  That doesn't change the fact that folks around my age, who enjoy gaming like this, probably share a lot in common with me. Nuff said.

See you in the world.
the first sentence of your comment looked like me writing it....same here on all accounts. 49 next month, started with pong, had all the consoles. So good to see a lot of people still playing games in their 40's,  50's,  and 60's on here

An FFL Dealer, pretty cool job, I'm jealous. I am somewhat of a firearms lover.

Forgot to add ... mainly on PC (as my children monopolise the Xbone) so uPlay name is the same as here (and in World of Tanks, War Thunder, Armored Warfare, World of Warships etc etc)

Remember the addage ... You may live but one life, but as a gamer you may live many, over and over again.....

Hear, hear on the MPX, or any Sig for that matter. Can I get a Legion P229 as my personal sidearm as well? Promise I won't ask for another pistol, ever......probably,....well, maybe. Lol

I am older 29 almost 30 ps4. AmericanReaper75 I play more later at night because that is when my son goes down. He usually falls down about 10 or 11.

addition: I usually play until around 2am or so. Prior Service so you may hear too easy or roger a lot  if you play with me lol oh and the F word or sh*t haha

You are not alone, I'm in my 60's and female. There are quite a few oldies out there. I don't usually mention my age when playing with others as I have had some negative reactions in the past. Being female can also upset some gamers as well. lol. Feel free to friend me if you like.
Pat I'm glad I friended you and had a great time playing today. Hopefully there will be lots more of that!

" An FFL Dealer, pretty cool job, I'm jealous. "

Like any other job, there are some cool aspects and there are some that you just don't want to deal with. But overall it's been a good experience.

54 years old here and currently hooked on Division.  I'm  level 30 (24 DZ), working on gearing up for challenge missions.  Those Phoenix credits are not easy to come by.

I used to play with large group of older gamers. We even had our own forum, but a lot of those guys just stopped gaming, which I could not imagine for myself.   I'd love to get in with a another solid group, I will check the link posted above.

I am on Xbox one, GT is Pete1210.

I'm turning 41 in a couple weeks and would be interested in being part of a group of "older" players.

I typically play after 9pm CST after my wife and I get the kids settled in for bed. I could swing a few hours during the day on the weekends as well.

I'm located in Saskatoon, Canada.

I play on the PS4.

I LOVE this thread, it makes me feel so young!

If there were an option to disable interaction between myself and, say, the 15 and younger crowd, I'd turn it on in a heartbeat. I'd go higher than that, but I have found some laid back players that just wanna have fun only slightly older. I always prefer to run with those my own age or higher, though every crowd has it's douchenozzles.

I'll be 48 very soon and it's good to see others my age playing as well.  I'm not great by any means but I'm currently level 25 (DZ13) and would love to not go solo all the time.  I'm on xbox one, gt is its03k64.  Feel free to add.

@American Reaper, I like that line, "when my "son " goes down" hahahahaha. I have some sons that play as much as I do, and they play with me (multiple copies on multiple consoles)  but I like my special time when they finaly go to bed  on school nights. Ill have to remember that line.

Im in my mid 40s. Smiled at the pong comments on this thread too.  I was pretty excited when my Dad brought home that system. Onto the Atari 2600, I completed ET the Exterrestrial. Don't know what all the fuss is about regarding that game being a poor seller,  it was a great game to me. Sad they dug up copies in the New Mexican landfill

Im also an ex GTA 5 player, rank 400 something, K.D over 3.0 . That game is broken for me in terms of its Bad Sport lobby.  After they banned me for two months from the server,  I play The Division now.  Sofar I'm 25/ 19 DZ.  Im taking my time cause I wait up with friends to match near the same level give or take a few numbers and we hit the main missions on hard. Were about at the end of the main missions, We got Russian Consulate to do and the finale, were kinda sad. looking forward to the dailies and finding the high end loot in the DZ
