What is everyone's 18-30 level strategy?

does the hard missions only drop HE gear once per day? do i have to do different ones each time, or should i grind the hell out of them all day long. i have found the hospital one very easy to solo on hard. i just sipe them out of range, what im asking is there a limit to how many HE's drop per day from one mission?

run missions on hard, all of them. When you're done those, run Lexington event center and Lincoln tunnel on challenge mode. When you get comfy with that, run Warrengate power plant and Russian consulate on challenge mode. When that gets comfy, do the incursion on hard. DZ anytime in there, but you'll likely get your butt handed to you until later. ---------->*****Matchmake for everything.******<--------

You need to matchmake. Each main mission can be replayed on hard, and the 4 I named can be replayed on challenging as well. Go in with a random group of 4 through the matchmaking system. As long as you're level 30, start from the first main mission you ran (likely madison field hospital), and work to the last (U.N.), setting the difficulty on each to "hard". You'll be around130-160 when you get done, depending on how lucky you get with drops. When you've completed them all, head off to challenging mode. The incursion shouldn't be touched until your gear score shows 160, and preferably 180.

i hear ya, but every time i matchmake with them randoms, they don't like that i can't fully talk to them, i grew up speaking 2 languages, and because so i suck at both to be honest. 

but i am having much luck at soloing the hards, i have been completing all of the ones you tols me, the one i found to be the easiest was Hospital right next to B.. 

i now have a gear set of 108, and have gotten HE holdster, High end Neepads, a high end AK, and many HE mods.

i honestly forget what all i have, but i got all those drops today, ohh yeah i also got a HE LMG, and i would give it to someone but i don't know how to give it to anyone. i think its a 182 GS

ALL elite named npcs drop an HE item now, 100% of the time, every time.

I have just done everything essentially wrong ... I'm level 30, DZ rank 20 .... still not gone through the final mission even on NORMAL yet! Maybe I don't want the story to end. The pull of the DZ each night is just so strong though...instead of running missions I just want to get into DZ01 / DZ02 (gear score currently 130) and because I'm 90% of the time solo...the buzz I get in there doesn't make me want to hit the missions LOL!
