Converted SMG-9?

So I have my HE Vector, HE Tactical Vector, HE First Wave Vector, HE AUG (not the one the guy was selling at BOO)... and none of them do the DPS that my Converted SMG-9 does. It is about 20k more than any of those. Without mods, all of those are in the high 60's and my SMG9 is in the high 80's. Is it a good weapon?

I wouldn't look at the DPS number to tell which was better, I'd field test em. Take em all and head somewhere with high health enemies (like the DZ), and see which takes em down faster, or which is really doing the best per shot or hi-end damage.

Often, it's more than just what the numbers say that makes a good weapon. Some variants have a lot more recoil (horizontal or vertical) that can throw your shots off, and some just don't "feel" right.

Best thing to do is test them, I grinded dz to get to rank 75 to buy the ACR blueprint only to find that my 163gs LVOA-C is much better for me. Really hoping I can drop a 182gs LVOA-C... I love that gun

as @Xeromaus said the dps numbers aren't everything mate, just have to get a gun that YOU feel happy with. I still run my Midas because I like it even though I have an AUG with a better dps score.

No, DPS isn't everything but I am noticing that I am melting enemies a lot faster with this SMG. the Vector gives me better range but it simply melts those shotgunner rushing at me.

The SMG-9 has the worst range of the SMGs. Other than that it has similar stats at the MP5 and the accuracy is pretty good.
