so this is my first post after having lurked for some time now.
I had some burning questions that i didn't have answered in any other place,
so i decided to throw them out here, seeing that this is a helpful and productive community.
1.)I am curious to know if "Initial bullet stability" applies to each round from a BA-DMR or a PA-Shotgun or simply the first round from a full magazine
2.)Is "Hip-Fire stability/accuracy" ever useful (does anyone really use hip-fire enough to want it)?
3.)does the bonus stat on armor that adds "bonus crit DMG to pulse" go beyond the cap or 40% rate 99-100%DMG? and does the bonus on the skill appear on the skill UI?
4.)how much bonus damage does the first aid skill with the mod of "    " Add + mitigate? and time

1. it applies to any non-auto fire round, as far as I know. Semi-automatics should receive the bonus on each shot, and automatics should receive it each time the trigger is let go and pressed again.

2. In the DZ it can be. You move faster while hip firing than aiming.

3. Haven't played with this one too much, hopefully someone else here has.

4. same thing...not a first aid guy lol.

Thanks for the reply.

1. That is very interesting. I will look at this stat in a whole new light (like for Shotguns or DMRs)

2. Yea, I guess it is how you play the game. Subjective.

3. I love pulse and im looking forward to any sort of answer.

4. I got a response for this somewhere else actually its 15% damage + and resistance + for 10 secs

In regards to the bonus crit question in relation to Pulse. I use Pulse quite often, and to be completely honest.. I haven't really noticed it exceeding the limitations. I'll pop in to the firing range at my BoO and give it a test and see what happens, though. I'll let you know.

I will advise you against that though. Pulse adds the bonus only to pulsed enemies. How it works is as you send out the pulse you will get the bonus. If it does not find any targets you lose the buff. The decent thing is if it did not find viable targets the skill cooldown is lower than normal.

Pulse is a very nice skill but can be much better in the right hands.

Hi there.

I try to give you some input too here:

1.) As far as I know IBS (Initial-Bullet-Stability) is only useful on bolt action sniper rifles and slow shooting shotguns. At least that is what some of the youtubers out there tell us. It does apply to each shot, as long as you let the weapon stabilize again between shots which BA rifles and the slow shooting shotguns do. This basically means your crosshair has to fully settle down to full accuracy. A semi-auto DMR would have to be fired very slowly to benefit from IBS. That's why stability and horizontal stability work best on a semi-auto DMR.

2.) Hip-Fire-Stability is for once good as xeromaus said when you need to be faster and shoot at the same time. But it can also be useful when you got hit by a rushing shotgunner in PVE and you managed to get into cover before he killed you but you need to shoot him before he reaches you. By using blind-fire you expose yourself less then by leaning out of cover to fire. Hip-Fire-Stability helps you to hit more accuratly in those situations where you just can't lean out of cover to aim and shoot. So hip-fire-stability = more blind fire accuracy.

3.) Yesterday I played around a bit with the skill calculator and noticed that the cap for crit damage on pulse is 100%. So any +% percent crit damage on pulse you get that keep it below 100% crit damage bonus are useful. Anyting above that will go to waste. But only very heavy almost pure electornics builds or agents with a 4 piece set of "Tactician's Authority" will reach the cap of 100% crit damage bonus because you need around 80.2k Skillpower to reach the cap without any gear bonus. So the bonus stat can be useful.

4.) I can't really help you with this one. The only thing I noticed, is that the bonus only lasts for a few seconds (way below 10 seconds my guess would be around 5 seconds) so it does not really matter that much imo. If you want to reliable buff damage other skills are better like pulse or smart cover if you ask me.

I have got a small update about question number 4:

I heard in a YT video that the damage buff from the booster shot is around 13% damage. I just do not remember from which youtuber I heard that. May have been "Skill up" or "Arrekz Gaming".
