Oh. daesu

agent provocateur
One of my toons, Oh Daesu#2, has a Predator's Mark build.

(Predator's Mark seems to be back in vogue since the PTS, but no transgression here.)

Anyway, finding that I draw the cleaner axe gang unerringly. Ballistic Shield is meant to have some agro, despite this, the axe gang will run around the Ballistic players, as if they are invisible, to tango with me. In practical terms, I need to hang back from the group when I know they'll appear, so I have time to take care of them ... as if I'm playing solo.

I have a Suppressor S-7 on my main. Since they removed the +/- Threat attribute, the idea is that Suppressors lower threat as opposed to say the loud vent. And Ballistic shield generates threat. I can't see it being dps. My AlphaBridge build, with higher dps, doesn't vaguely have this issue.

Nor is it to do with damage dealt, as they come at me straight away before I have even unloaded.

Any despite this toon being fem, I don't think it is gamergate coding, lol.

I have heard suggestions that threat determines whether the ai takes to cover or comes out to play, but this still has no bearing on why they side step the rest of the team to play with me.

Any ideas?

All of the things that I would think might have the biggest affect on it, dmg & mods, don't seem to be the case.  The only thing I can think of is that the cacluation is incorrectly taking into account potential bleed damage from the PM set when it figures you're threat, despite the fact that you haven't caused that damage yet.

Yeah that's what I thought. They said the fixed it , and sounded like they made it the usual agro mechanics that we are all familiar with. Not sure how it work originally tho the have conceded it was always broken.

It's weird, it's just those melee ai. Maybe the bleed affect triggers some threat intended or not. Seems like the best answer.
