Sucks so far, game play is great, but when u get stuck in the 201 bracket with 175 gear stuff and u cant survive to play in it then whats the point? I only play for the dz play now and i cant do that

Take off your 204 weapons and replace them with 182's if the bracket is that bad. A fix is incoming soon, but for now that's what you got.Sucks so far, game play is great, but when u get stuck in the 201 bracket with 175 gear stuff and u cant survive to play in it then whats the point? The game was designed and marketed twords group play. Your choice is your choice, but you also get to live with the results of that choice.rubbish...more levels to do but cant because you need to be in a group, search and destroy missions that you can do but cant complete because when you check in with the two agents at the base of operations you get more missions to do but cant because you need to be in a group,
We have the ability now to carry nearly 2k ammo for assault rifles/smgs/lmgs, and around 300 for marksmen rifles/shotguns. Sure, you CAN still run out, but if you carried a few types of weapon, you'd have something to switch to that wasn't empty.when doing search and destroy missions you now use all your ammo and no refill boxes around so the enemy regenerate to full health ,
Not a single clue what you're talking about here. The board doesn't "drop" anything, it's straight into your inventory.finishing search and destroy missions when going back to the safe house and reporting to the white board it drops a weapon to close to the board and when you go to press the square button instead of picking up the weapon it puts you back in the mission you just did and cant cancell it,..
Well, at least we've moved on from blaming the devs.these game testers are total retards
We agree here, this change was WAY overdue.the only good thing that i can see is the stash boxes in the checkpoints yay
Toughness is just a visual representation of how much you can endure. Health is still health, armor is still armor. Complaining about being dead in THREE shotgun hits??? Somebody never ran a challenge mode incursion...the toughness instead of health is rubbish went and made myself 200,000 toughness just to test it out 3 shots from the overpowered shotgunners and dead..
...now it makes sense. You haven't gotten that far into the game.now that the item drops have changed ive never deconstructed so many gold weapons ever before
You can hit those rikers with a pistol from that same distance, with nearly the same effect. Sadly, The Historian is kinda junk. Lotta better marksman rifles out there.ive now got the historian sniper rifle its range is off the chart but when scoping in on an enemy with 15x scope im being shot from the exact same distance by a riker with a pistol
It's gotten a ton better since launch to me, but you seem to be your own worst enemy in game. If you weren't dead set on being solo, you'd have a lot more figured out by now.this game is so fucked up theres absolutely no saving this pile of shit its just gets worse and worse..
The brackets are calculated from the best possible GS you can achieve so if you have 214-240 even in your stash they calculate from that to put you in 201+Sucks so far, game play is great, but when u get stuck in the 201 bracket with 175 gear stuff and u cant survive to play in it then whats the point? Keep playing the new missions and get your higher score drops! Why go play with the big boys when you're not actually ready? Doesn't make sense does it? The high value target missions are playable alone AND you can net gear set items (I got Nomad gloves last night).Sucks so far, game play is great, but when u get stuck in the 201 bracket with 175 gear stuff and u cant survive to play in it then whats the point? we found it linked solely to 204 weapons. If he's got a total of 175 gear score, but he's running a 204 weapon, he'll be in the 201 bracket. As soon as he swaps the weapon out for a 182, he'll be back in the 161 bracket, even if he raises his overall gearscore to 200 using 240 armor pieces. The brackets are calculated from the best possible GS you can achieve so if you have 214-240 even in your stash they calculate from that to put you in 201+

They tried to change how the gear score was calculated to prevent players from dropping artificially, but something went awry and now it's tied to weapons exclusively. We tested it a few ways and it always came down to 204 weapons put you in 201, 163/182 keeps you in 161.
Yup! plenty of playtesting needed. As its a maths thing its going to take lots to sort out I guess but at least they've tried couple of different methods since launch, they just need to keep working on it .. a lot! LOL!Well that is broken ha
Like everyone's said, either matchmake or LFG on the forums here and you'll find tons of people to play with. I've posted up on threads where others were looking for people to run with and ended up having those people and others send friend requests. In like a week I had at least half a dozen people from here that I've played with at least once or twice and most of them are all for DZ, some are rogue hunters, some are rogues, and some are up for whatever.very frustrated with dark zone as a solo player .... yesterday was fun - today instant death - guess I am done with the game what a shame - ruined for me now.
I'm 196 GS with only 182 weapons, but was put in the 200+ bracket. Just in reference to the whole 204 weapon thing. However, if I equipped all of my best gear I think I'd be 200+ technically.. so it may just be broken-ish! Lol.we found it linked solely to 204 weapons. Did you do all the weekly HVT's on solo? If so I give you credit. Those are rough. I did the first (lowest) weekly HVT by myself and wow that was intense. Which is great. The dailies are good. Tough but doable.Erm.... the high value target missions are all scaled. I did all mine solo last night you know, I'm unsure what you're doing wrong, but I feel you're doing something wrong as I found them pretty nicely levelled as solo missions which is why I was so excited last night when playing them. I died a few times on a couple (in particular the 2nd versions of the same mission from safe houses where every wave is shotgunners!) but I respawned, retried, amended my tactics and did it.
In particular I had to make sure my skills and talents were set right for each mission, but that's all about thinking the missions through.
No, didn't have time...just dailies unfortunately (is there a limit on intel credits you can hold I wonder?? or a time limit on them?) . I'll not take credit where I'm not due it! They were definitely rough. Which I absolutely love. The daily missions on hard were just too easy so its nice to get something that is a slight step up.No, didn't have time...just dailies unfortunately (is there a limit on intel credits you can hold I wonder?? or a time limit on them?) . So yeah, dailies were tough but doable. I died about twice on two separate ones (2nd tier versions with the shotgun rushers) but I changed out some talents and modified tactics.
Darcy and I did the Cmdr Krypo or whatever his name was; the 3rd level Weekly HRT... We tried it 4 times and couldn't down them. Could never get to where he comes out; always ran out of time or died. Definitely some difficult stuff! The dailies weren't as hard as that, but still provided a challenge.Did you do all the weekly HVT's on solo? If so I give you credit. Those are rough. The weekly I did (don't remember his name) was rough but it was mostly just being patient. Not looking at the clock and getting worried. The second weekly I did with a friend and it was the same thing. He kept looking at that clock and panicking. I kept saying we got this just stick with the plan. And we did lol. Tons of fun. Yeah, I finally went into the DZ today, just DZ01, to try and grind to 75. NPC's hit so much harder! I actually died a few times in DZ01 which was slow as hell to level in before the patch. I was under the impression that the new DZ bracket would be in the upper/more difficult zones, not ALL OF THEM! I'm a casual player and am not geared to the teeth so I guess unless I get carried by people, DZ is just gonna suck for lower geared players. This is extremely frustrating. Possibly time for a game change.very frustrated with dark zone as a solo player .... yesterday was fun - today instant death - guess I am done with the game what a shame - ruined for me now.
No you cant, you will get to the spot and the target will be gone, be careful because if you die or leave the mission area that game over.I just went back to the local safe house and restocked on ammo...the HVT icon still stays on the map, as long as you remember where it was you can reselect it and continue where you left off.
