Especially with the vanity clothing, but also with all other equipment, would be nice to have sub menus of the items before you go to a list of all the stuff. As it is, I have to scroll through about 30 items to get down to shoes. Just a little thing that isnt a make or break fix, but would be appreciated to streamline browsing and equipping items.

I really doubt they'll add a trading system. I mean, its a loot based game. Maybe a very limited trading, kinda like how diablo 3 did its trading system. (Can only trade with members of the group you were in when you found the item and only for an hour after finding the item.

Also, I would like for there to be more NPC's to kill

More NPC's certainly has a vote from me. Also the trading system as g1nt3r described seems to be a good solution. As it is a loot based game they'd shoot themselves in the foot by allowing full-blown trading.

Clan support would be a nice feature to have as well. I just hope they don't add instanced pvp stuff like h1z1 did, the survival servers are a ghost town there.

I would like to see a raid type system sort of how destiny did it. I think it would be a little bit more fair for the people that don't like the pvp aspect of the DZ.
i think there will be something like a raid in game, i heard mention of something like that.

I wouldn't mind a crouch system, and the ability to loot the crates in the dark zone
We definitely need a crouch button in the DZ for the PVP action, staying out of real players sight is a lot different than avoiding the enemy AI sight. In the final game we'll be able to loot DZ crates with those DZ keys that we're collecting now but not able to use in the beta.

some form of faster traversing system like motorbikes or bicycles or tricycle. just running everywhere is a bore. and a crouch option.

Thought of a few more. The combat roll animation needs to be tightened up and much quicker, it's way to long right now. The grenade selection/equip process needs to be simplified, it takes to long to complete. Also I think consumables ex. water, energy bar and canned food should be essential to survival, so you get more of a sense of the dire situation at hand and the fight to stay alive. Maybe have your health gradually decrease from all the traversing, so it's something you need to keep an eye on, thus giving the consumables more meaning.

Perhaps an option for this type of survivalist gameplay, a lot of causal gamers would be turned off by this.

The main point of the DZ IS a PVP area though. The regular co-op/single area will have roaming enemies, constant encounters, and ongoing side missions from the "job" board at the base. I believe that a tighter crimewatch/rogue system, like the system in place in EVE online would work well with the DZ...but if someone is trying to avoid PVP, then the DZ is not where they should be.
