Oh good question. Well I'd have to say the teamwork aspect. I love the idea of a team of 4 agents mobbin around New York, cleaning up the city. Also the combat mechanics are awesome for a game thats an MMO. I've always wanted a solid FPS MMO RPG and I believe this is it.

Oh man, where do I start.

  • I like the killer graphics, even though there might be a small downgrade. You won't notice a smaller resolution of a certain texture when stuff is blowing up around you and bullets are spraying right over your head.
  • The setting: a modern day New York almost as deserted as it was for Will Smith in 'I am legend'? Plain awesome
  • The different kinds of character builds. I like the Holy Trinity (tank, dps, healer)
  • Character customization: Full Freakin Beards!!
  • Weapon customization and the different stat boosts it gives you.
Those are just a few but the most important to me is the option to group with people on the fly. I'm really looking forward to meet amazing people ingame, getting to know them and continue playing with them afterwards.

Love the "I am Legend" reference. Never thought of that! Very cool.

Love it, love it all.

good question, where to begin:

1. want to learn more about the setting, new york, cant wait to search every nook and cranny

2. learn more about the weapons, gun turret, flame turret, rolling heat seeking grenade. the guns and their customization's

3. learn more about the dark zone..i usually shy away from PvP because im older now and these youngins have better reflexes lol, but this PvP format has me intrigued

i could go on and on. March 8th cant get here fast enough

Lots of good stuff Blazzen67. Them Screeching teens ruin everything ;)

1. The fact it's in my home city certainly does help.

2. I like action rpgs and their take on the rpg trinity i found interesting.

3. after playing alpha and beta the security tree is the most satisfying experience tanking in an rpg that I've ever had.

4. the game just looks beautiful. it's great to play a game designed for the current gen of consoles/ current PC specs.

I love coop shooters just last week i got together with some friends and we were talking about when we used to play the original rainbow six together back in the day

What I am really excited about is building out my character and weapons for specific purposes as well searching and finding every nook and cranny in the PVE area. It is going to be amazing how dense the map is. Once the roving NPC's are in  (supposedly) at full release it will make this journey so much better.

Having fun with the proximity chat within the Dark Zone is going to be great. I think that'll add a bit more to the intensity of the area.

Okay wow, that's some tough question.

At first it's like Ubisoft listened to my (not actually existent) prays. But I think one thing at the beginning that got me the most interested was the fact that I usally dislike cover-based shooters. It's just not my kind of thing, as it usally stays the same every fight. But when I read about it being an RPG I wondered what that combination would do. And well.. now I'm here excited to start my own Streaming & YouTube project with The Division as the first game that'll have it's part in there. And in addition me and my streaming & YT partner joined an (also) german community called nerai which is also startin' up with The Division. It actually feels like The Division is raising an incredibly huge community out of nowhere!

Its just a great combination of game styles and looks I grew up with. That it is set in New York and a realistic approach is great. All the weapon geekery will be fantastic. RPG aspect need I say more. Just the great community it's creating is awesome as well. Also I hope they learned from other games to keep it fresh which it sounds like. Cya in the DZ whoop whoop
