Share your build!!

I'm just going to have to keep tinkering with the build until I get her so she's as close to a shotty rusher as possible.  She needs to be a bullet sponge, but I want her to come knocking hard when she steps up.  I'm pretty "content" with the build on my main (156k DPS, 421k toughness, 11.4k skill point, 2x FM/2x LS/2x AB), so I'll probably be work on getting my alt squared away.

@Big Grumper As for your request to have her look more female, I'll probably move my purple appearance items (slouchies and hats, scarves, and jackets) as well as my 3 pink snakeskin weapon skins to scream CHICK if you think that would work.  Although, until I went to the prisoner orange scheme I'm currently running on my main, he was wearing all the purple clothes and rocking the pink skins.

I tweaked with mine last night and I’m going to try a purely support healing build. So I’ve tooled up with 2x Reclaimers (100% support station) and 3x Firecrest as the faster reload is a bit of a get-out-of-gaol-free-card. I’ve also equipped to get my Skills up and also equipped:

Skills -

Booster Shot

Support station (Life Support)

Recovery Link

Talents -

Battle Buddy

Combat Medic

Precision (because I’ve dropped pulse but I manage headshots pretty much all the time even with an AR)

Critical save (another “get-out-of-gaol-free-card”)

..aim of the build is to try a purely healer role, I just need to find a way to buff my Stamina/Toughness a bit more, but I’ll stay back a bit and supply healing and res skills for the whole party. It’s a build that might be too specialist to be practical but I like to play about with ideas.

First attempt at this healer build, not got the balance right I don't think still... I need more electronics

I'm still tweaking my alt's build, but I think the 3x shotty build will be viable.  I have played a little DZ (only DZ01/02 and very little DZ06) and didn't really fight any rogues, but it seems like it's working on PvE missions.  I still need to get a better pic (the one below is a screen shot taken on my phone from my Twitch recording from last night) and log the rest of her stats, but here's what she's running right now:

4x LS, 229 vigorous chest and 229 sturdy holster with a 229 M870, 229 SASG-12, and a 182 sawed off (was way short on the PXC to buy the 204 sawed off from the special weapons vendor before it changed yesterday).

I have 2x PM which help to increase range (didn't notice too much when I swapped them out for sentry).  I tried sentry, but I like the benefits from the HE chest and holster better (all self heal skills give overheal and +12.5% armor when in same cover for 10 sec).  Ultimately I think I want a pair of savage gloves and a reckless chest.  I might also try to find either backpack, knee pads, holster, or mask that gives vigorous and run 3x HE, 3x LS.

Oh, and at @Big Grumper's request, she now wears a purple slouchie, purple winter coat, and purple scarf and all of her weapons are skinned in the pink viper snakeskin.  As I kept saying last night, nothing says lovin' like a pink shotty up your ass, BOOM BOOM!

Testing my latest DZ201 build as we speak. Combining gears from 268, 240, 214, and 204.

Right now I'm a free mercenary in DZ01 to solo and teamed players who are struggling against NPC.

Damnit, somehow I missed the pony tail when I made my female alt (@Big Grumper - they make real women's hair cuts).  My chick looks like she works in a Russian women's prison.  Oh, well, she's got all her purples and pink guns.

I'm not happy with my in-game performance with this new build. Damage resistance has dropped from 75% to 53% with the higher Gear so I'm thinking of rebuilding as I'm losing health far too rapidly against NPC's even if my toughness is over 205k.

*watch this space*

So i've been running with a Tactician Tank since 1.2 came around.  It is 130k DPS, 585k Toughness and 26k Skill which increases to 52k with the 4 piece Tactician buff.  That build is currently in my stash as I have been playing with a new build.

My new Reclaimer build is either:

130k DPS

410k Toughness

39k Skill

or,

150k DPS

410k Toughness

35k Skill

It is so much fun to run with.  The shared special ammo and consumables is awesome in team play and the high skill gives me my abilities almost non stop and very powerfully.

It is just a shame that it's all 214 gear, I would love to go like this:

150k "ish" DPS

450-500k Toughness

45-50k Skill

Unfortunately I HAVE to have talents on guns unlocked ... toughness suffers but its 38k higher than last attempt, DPS is 15k down but skill power is up 10k. Ammo capacity is up 43% (just short of 800 rounds for the AR) and Damage resistance is at 71% (far better than the 50% before). I've also sprinkled in some burn/exotic resistance (but I think its only 20%).

Range is showing head crit hits of 31k per round with the AR (recalibrated with faster reload) and 30k with the SMG (which has a 94 round magazine with faster RoF and faster reload). Pistol is hitting just short of 21k crit.

@quinch1199 - What pieces are you running? I see Lonestar and Striker but I don't recognise the others.
Mask = Lone Star

Knee pads & Holster  = Reclaimer (100% healing station boost)

Gloves = Fire Crest

Vest = BLIND

Back pack = Striker

...I'd like more Lone Star for more ammo but ... don't have them...so its a bit of a patchwork until I find decent parts for other sets. Three Fire Crest would also be helpful for 100% reload so my ideal would be two Lone Star and three Fire Crest (100% ammo + 100% reload speed) ... then again Reclaimer fits my support healer build better with the station boosts.

EDIT - realise you won't know some of these as ... erm .... its not August yet (PS4 vs. PC Master Race)

your skill is good, but toughness needs to get way higher (atleast 400k) if you run the 231 dz or do challenge/heroic.

I've recently switched to a sentry build, ive still got pieces I need to put together to run all 268 gear, but its working ok so far.  My striker set just doesn't seem to cut it anymore when going pvp.

I'm mainly 214 / 240 gear, only just got a 268 last night (which does a serious number on my Skill Power unfortunately) ... I just have to wait for more of them before upgrading.

Remember that I'm not running solo with this build, this is a group support build for throwing down heals and rez'ing the other team members as much as possible. I run Challenge Underground missions ok, not unlocked Heroic yet. I work on the old ideum .. if I'm taking incoming fire, I'm doing it wrong and I try to manage my aggro accordingly.

For example though I'm not sure what the break point is on Skill Power/Electronics ... is there a minimum cap to regen on skills for example and at what level of Skill Power / Electronics does that kick in? For example could I stand to lose some points in that to build my Toughness up?

Its not a build based on DPS anyway so as long as talents in my weapons are unlocked I can minimise that ..though I need minimum of 2068 Firearms for that.

I think I just need info on how low I can go on the other stats as I will be sacrificing those to gain toughness.

I just saw the 231 gs on your SS.  You've got plenty of room to improve.  I'm not sure what kind of gear set youre going for, but ive seen a lot of 4 piece sentry, 2 tac builds lately.  Not only do they provide great support, but they also provide good dmg to npc and players.  For pvp and pve, its usually overheal and smart cover as skill. with a m1a as a primary and sg (pvp) or AR/SMG as a secondary.  Pulse will work well, but if you got someone in your group with close to 20k skill, then their pulse should be adequate.

I believe the cap for skills is around 45k.  Even as a support build you have low toughness.  The support builds ive seen have been around 480k toughness to as high as 600k toughness. I wouldn't worry about dps at all as a support build. Maybe use a gs 182 gun or possibly lower so your firearms don't have to be that high. Id also suggest running coolheaded as a talent on your pistol.  It seems to work really well for the support build in my group.

I may be different then others, but what I do with my gear mods is.  Stack as many stam/armor mods until I reach armor cap, then either stack firearms/skill or stam/skill.

Super, exactly the advice I needed. I'll have a look what I have tonight.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.  I plan on posting my sentry build once I get rid of the 214/240 pieces I have.
