rogue kill counter

hi,

how must i kill a rogue to make it count?

is it enough to shoot him until he is dead or must i hit him with the weapon?

i killed yesterday to rogue agents just shooting at them .....but it doesnt count.....

was that just a uplay issue??

hit them when they're down to make them dead. Doesn't matter how.

It should. A message will appear at the bottom of the screen describing who killed who anywhere within 500ft of your current position.

It's usually the last person to put a bullet in him.  So it may seen like you killed him but didn't land the last shot

The more I look around online, the more this seems correct.
