So I'm kinda copying the "new 1.3 builds" because it started a conversation which I hope it will again. So i'll start here's my PvP build: 4 Banshee Robust chest piece and a sturdy holster I have 780K tou (toughness) when rouge and 167 DPS but when I stack mobile cover on top (which I always do) I go to 1.2 million tou and 205 dps. what do you guys think of my build and what build are you running?

Build looks pretty good and based on the Banshee set, I'm guessing your a PvP player.  I'm pretty much  PvE player, since my builds haven't been solid for PvP in the past.

I'm in the initial stages of play testing a 3x TA, vig chest, spec backpack & refreshed mask.  It's pretty smooth, works fine and is fun to play in LZ, it just needs to run In UG and or LZ boss/ dailies or DZ.

Did a quick look and this looks like it should be pretty helpful.   Also found this video from MarcoSyle that make a  strong case for specing to armor over some of the protections.

Found this nice little slice of heaven on Reddit  :1_grinning: The Division Ultimate 1.4 Build Guide

Lots of detail there, thanks for posting. Though, maybe I'm not following some of this. He has Banshee in PVE builds?

Devs need to learn excel. I thought people were grumbling simply because it was harder to hit cap. Which can be a good thing, as having cap at T4 would make you a specialised tank build. And, hopefully players are still free to explore other builds. Going by his figures, at the end of the day... get armour or get home :(

Edit: tho armour has always been a must. Just that he is saying the new formula stifles other options more

Banshee is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.  More beautiful than the Mona Lisa, more beautiful than the first sunset of the fall, more beautiful than a twin turbo 1996 Toyota Supra--well, let's not get crazy, but it's damn beautiful.

Being able to enter the DZ and not lose XP? I never realized that's all I needed to enjoy it.  Okay, you killed me.  Okay, you took my stuff.  But I'm not losing my time and effort.

So, in the DZ at least, it's a Banshee's life for me.  Outside, I'm working on a Predator's Mark/Hunter's Faith combo for giggles.

My group went into the DZ and realized that even if we die and lose DZ funds, DZ XP and gear it no longer really mattered because we could get all the gear from any activity in PvE now.  Once we reminded ourselves of that, we just didn't care and had a good time.

so i'v not had any huge boosts to my banshee build but i'v gone back to my FM days. now i'v got a build with 3 FM and 3 HE (robust, sturdy and resourceful) so with the 15% PFE from FM and 6% from my chest piece i'v got 21% in total so it jumps my 725.6K TOU to 918.5K TOU and that's just base without adding in any skills like my mobile cover. if i added that in it goes to 1.321mil TOU and mobile cover never burns out on it's own. (as a side note my friend also runs smart cover and has about 50% up time and when we stack his smart cover with my mobile cover it brings it to 2.3mil TOU for 20 seconds)

what's your armour mitigation like?

70% @Oh. daesu i'm stacking everything into armor like everyone else, though i don't think i need to but i'll get back to you on that after some testing.

You could just run with a ballistic shirld and pistol whip your way. Lol

Is that 70% out of cover? Does your gear with amour/cover get lost with the cap?

I'm still squishy. Just began to craft some mods with armour. Though there are meant to be a good mod with armour at dz03.

Oddly I'm not anymore. Pre-1.4 I was and did try to buff damage mit and armour as much as possible but even though I'm technically more squishy now I've not felt the need to focus so much on that side. Something about how they've modified the Ai and the attached Aggro calculations has meant I can crowd control far better and in a much more predictable manner than before. If I want to draw attention then I can do but if I want to avoid it as much as possible I'm doing a decent job of avoiding it as well so far.

I normally run in a small team with one or two friends. One is a dedicated sniper and it often falls to me to still be the "tank" even though I'm not technically specc'd for it but because of his insane damage output he always drags the majority of Aggro at the very start of a conflict meaning I have to work hard to drag it back towards me....perhaps this way we manage to divide the Ai's up better but so far things have gone surprisingly well.

I have recently ditched my Lone Star build for Alpha Bridge four piece though which i'm just trying to sort out a decent 2pc set to match it.

Time will tell if I still feel the same in a few weeks about aggro or how squishy I am. I'll admit that at the moment exotic damage is my Achilles heel though as I take stupid amounts of damage from it and I really have to watch that at the moment.

@Oh. daesu First i run a Sturdy holster which gives me 8.4% more mitigation and Robust chest which gives me 5.6% more mitigation so if i leave cover my base TOU goes from 725.6K to 503.8K i normally have 56.8% mitigation which i think 60.1% is the max you could ever get without using high ends ^. Second ballistic shield is good for PvE but isn't great for PvP sure it's basically invulnerable you just can't out put any damage.

what TOU (toughness) do you run? @quinch1199

what TOU (toughness) do you run?
think its 205k currently... Stamina is about 3,500 ....but can't remember 100%. I plan to post my agent details up tonight when I'm home so we have a reference. Skill power just over 100k so I get a decent refresh on my Defib.

4pc AlphaBridge and I'm hovering at the moment with 1x Lone Star and 1x Banshee as I'm still looking for a decent 2pc set to compliment the rebuild.

Options for the 2pc are pretty open as Predators Mark, Final Measure, Sentrys call & Strikers will all do... if I can just find the right bits with the right stats.

That's perfect @quinch1199  I would go for a specialized or inventive (if it ever gets fixed) backpack and savage gloves. Now your talents on the other hand aren't so great, here's a list of the best six PvE talents for a DPS build from best to worst: Ferocious, Destructive, Fierce, Vicious, Self-preserved and Sustained.

This is my second toon, Myrtle.  She's quickly become my favorite since I switched her over from being a 4x LS all shotty build:

Firearms - 3958
-Primary DPS - 211k
-Secondary DPS - 170k
-Sidearm DPS - 127k

Stamina - 4277
-Toughness - 223k
-HP - 130k
-Armor - 8062
-Health Regen - 6492
-Mitigation - 41.82
-Prot. Elites - 6%
-DR - 0%
-EDR - 7%
-Bleed/blind/burn/disorient/disrupt/shock - 0%/28%/0%/15%/41%/0%

Electronics - 3161
-Skill Points - 138k

Gear Set Current:
Vigorous chest
Specialized pack
Refreshed mask
Tactician's Authority x3
 +10% skill points
 +10% skill haste

Current Weaps:
*primary* 229 Military G36 - deadly/brutal/focused
*secondary* 229 PP-19 - dominant/swift/hurried
229 Military M870 - swift/brutal/deadly
229 BM M60 E6 - unforgiving/sustained/brutal
229 First Wave X45 - expert/provident

My original toon, Zeke, is a work in progress.  I just got a couple pairs of savage gloves and some specialized packs, so I'll probably drop the 2x FM and replace those with HE to go with his 4x AB.

Here are the weapons that he carries:

ARs:
204 Tactical MK 16 - vicious/brutal/destructive
204 LVOA-C - swift/deadly/fierce

SMGs:
229 PP-19 - destructive/sustained/hurried
229 MP5 ST - stable/accurate/brutal
204 AUG - self-preserved/stable/deadly

LMGs:
229 Tactical M249 - balanced/vicious/commanding
204 M60 - balanced/swift/brutal

i think I'm missing an LMG and maybe a SMG or two as well as I have a pair of DMRs.  Despite being 204s, my ARs are pretty brutal when they're paired and I get 6 talents on my rock solid MK16.

Im still working on tweaking and converting his build from 1.3 to 1.4, so I'll try to post up his gear and stats once I'm done.

On your second character "Myrtle" is severely lacking in armor mitigation that might be do to your PFE (protection from elites) and EDR (exotic damage resilience). I'd also trade the Refreshed mask for Tenacious mask but other wise you have a good distribution of stats @DeadSockPuppet

BTW an example of how useful armor is just bringing you mitigation from 41.82% to 55% is a +65K TOU.
