What PC builds are required for stable 60+ Fps in the Divison 2

The specs are meant to be the same as they are for the first game so if you have The Division 1 and are happy with how it runs for you then TD2 should run about the same on the same system.

I was running TD1 happily on a system very much like yours at 1080p with close to top graphics.  If you want to go 4k then you will probably need to up the graphics card.  I am running 4k on my new(ish) 1080Ti with pretty much top graphics settings and it runs fine on both TD1 and TD2.

Ram is unlikely to be a limiting factor for you.  Faster ram is better but would not produce any real benefits for most people unless you are going from slowest to highest speed available in a single jump.  I am running 3000MHz which is sorta in the middle of what is available today and no real impact.

Several things to consider as judged from the Private Beta (Open Beta hopefully will address some of the optimisation issues)

1) The Snowdrop game engine has been rebuilt in collaberation with AMD with heavy focus on optimisation for multicore/multithreaded CPU's such as AMD's Ryzen & Threadripper series.

2) There were obvious drops in performance for Intel builds during the Private Beta, these were raised as problems however, hoping this will be addressed for Open Beta.

3) Ubisoft have long said "If you were able to play The Division on your system, you can play The Division 2", the practicalities of this are that you will likely need to dial down your quality settings a notch (FX such as shadows, bloom, AA, detail etc) to get the SAME raw performance and smooth feel as you did in The Division.

For example: I managed to play The Division 2 Private Beta on HIGH settings really well (excluding bugs and other issues on the later builds). I play The Division on Ultra / 80fps on the same system.

My system specs:

Ryzen 5 2600 (overclocked to X series speed of 3900Ghz base)

AMD RX 580 8Gb MSi Armor edition graphics card (which is actually a cheap-n-nasty version)

16Gb RAM (but only 2400Mhz unfortunately...can't afford to address this before game launch though, I NEED FASTER RAM!!!)

Gigabyte GA-AX370M-DS3H motherboard
