Alright so my day at work has consisted of writing up strats for the incursion since I failed twice last night. Figured I'd share with you guys and we can add to it obviously.

First off - I like to start the round off with killing the shot gunners from Up top. Place a smart cover down in the middle and team shoot. Once there's 3 enemies left, it begins.Once you're in the pit YOU STAY ON THE LEFT, YOU LIVE THERE.

So the shotguns will spawn rounds 1,4,5,8,9,10,14. Basically I'm going to talk about these rounds only because the other rounds are pretty simple.

wave 1 is cleared up top.

wave 4 - we get 4 shotguns. 2 come in fast from the left the other 2 either come left or in from the middle.

Wave 5  - 2 shotguns. Spawn on the right side. Shouldn't need a survivor link but use if need be. Call them out and shoot together.

Wave 8 - it's start to pick up here. 4 shotguns again coming from the left side , possibly splitting up and coming in the middle. They usually spawn by the APC or on the left side.

Wave 9 - very similar to wave 8.

Wave 10 - 2 shotguns , most likely dropping middle but may come left.

Wave 14 - recover fast because they come in hot. 4 shotguns 2 from the left other could come from middle or left side.

There's 2 ways of surviving the shotty rounds. First is kinda hectic and leave you vulnerable to the shock nades but it's tanky Af. Place a mobile cover and pop your survivor link. 50% damage reduction + 30% damage from your super. It's a cluster fuck but should work. Again, You're staying on the left side. The other way takes a bit of communication and coordination but it's pretty easy. A matter of shooting your Sticky bomb and stunning them and team shooting. Just make sure you Don't have both guys shoot hour sticky at the same time.

TALENTS - combat medic, critical save, battle buddy,Triage , on the move. Pick 4. You could also replace one of those (On the move) with wild fire or the shock talent if you're using a turret.

SKILLS - Pulse(Whoever is pulsing MUST call out how many guys are left, I believe it's 3 or less enemies will force the next wave).support station with immunize mod(Drones) First Aid( make sure you and your team are always running threw it to reduce cool down). Sticky Bomb with flashbang obviously to stun the shotguns. Support station with AMMO(Not for the ammo but for the skill cool down). Mobile cover. Turret (Flame/Shock)

Maybe there's some others to add in but these ones are pretty efficient. It goes without saying it's imperative to have All 4 people running survivor link.

Anyways, hopefully this is helpful! And please contribute to this thread

This is really good stuff. Love your thoughts. I always data mine these to gleam as much info as possible. I added a bunch of tips and thoughts to the stickied incursion post in the strategies forum. My 2c since you asked for contributions and i figured it would help others.

I was gonna ask If I could throw it in there, thanks man!

We have 3 support stations with ammo regen, first aid with either overshield or dps buff, and at least 1 pulse and 1 sticky bomb with the shock perk. The sticky bomb works wonders for both the shotgunners and the drones. We run straight to the center pit at the start, 2 left and 2 right as you are looking at the APC. All of us run Turtle for added damage mitigation. Tactical link is ok, but we normally have enough dps to counter anything that drops in the pit. If one of us dies while placing the bomb, we just wait for the respawn, but we can do the bomb wave with just one person now. Right stairwell is ideal for our sniper toon with sentry gear. Left stairwell is good for distracting the turrets and taking out snipers. Our group has a Tactician gearset, a Sentry gear set, and 2 Striker sets. We can typically complete in about 25 minutes. We have not tried challenge yet, but will soon. And I'm the highest GS at 202, currently, but can be done with gear in the 140-160 range.

It probably should have been made clearer, but we're discussing challenge mode.

Just throwin this out there, but "On The Move" REALLY helped against the shotgunners tonight. Saved us/me a few sig pops.

The Immunize station was arguably the biggest thing though. As stated it made shock drones do almost nothing to you, but it REALLY shined absorbing shotgunner shock grenades and any fire-related burning damage within it's radius. We may want to run two of these in the future.

We like to set up with 3 survivor links and one recovery link. It is a safety net if 2 players are downed together in a busy wave. Alternatively you can put on recovery link and then survivor when attempting bombing runs as the additional overheal received from recovery link does help .

More and more, we're happy to just let the bomb runner(s) die (if he's going to die) and take the game's revive that comes after the missile barrage. Saving sigs for uh-oh moments has worked out better than blowing them as part of a planned strategy.

With the damage reduction from On The Move, constant overheal spam (coupled with Triage and constantly running in and out of heals), and good communication, the run barely stands a chance now. We're MAYBE one run from having CMFL officially on farm, if it's not there now.

My problem is not having a consistent squad to run with, haven't even attempted challenge mode yet. Can I ask what your GS and stats are?

I run my at 204 but will be upping it to 210 now with the drop. But right now I'm running 2 tact and 3 sentry( I can't get gloves for the life of me)

Dps is a littl lower sittin at 228k 98k health but I can get it up to around 104 and 20k electroinics.

Xero will get all his stats ( probably right to the exact number lol). We have one guy who plays like a support role but can dish DPS and other other guy is just a hard hitting DPS freak. All of our scores are around 204-209. We had trouble on the easier round which was 15 and it was becaus we became stupid and tried to blow it.

The recovery link is pointless IMO , but that's just how we run it. I'd rather 4 of us taking 30% less damage. If you don't panic and communicate who's using who's well then it becomes night and day in terms of difficulty

Seems like you guys have a very good consistent squad. This is my downfall! Guessing you guys play on PC and not ps4?

Ohhh really? I have teamed up with a few people from these forums and it's always been good. Add MurphDog6 and if I can group with you sometime I will do, even if it's just to farm dz or whatever, the grind never ends!

Thoight I should also add that I am from UK. So I am in GMT Time zone that could cause problems being online as the same time as you guys. Anyway feel free to add me if you want to. If not its cool you have your squad and a good set up by the sounds of things

I'm sitting at 206 normally, with my highest GS achieved being 214.

3/3 sentry/strikers.

165k/85k/11k (2706/2845/1139). Pathetic right?

...but...

206% headshot damage, 57% damage to elites, 53% armor damage, 195% crit damage, 23% crit chance (inherent bonus on smg only), 12% base damage bonus. 65% armor mitigation.

Built specifically for PvE, and more specifically for challenge mode incursion. One member of our squad is ALWAYS running pulse, and keeping it active 100% of the time, so pile on another 60%/100% crit chance/crit damage as long as we're in there.

Talents:

In incursion: Adrenaline, Triage, Critical Save, On The Move.

Normal: Adrenaline, Critical Save, Wildfire, One is None

Skills:

In incursion: Overdose (First Aid), Immunizer (Support Station), Survivor Link.

Normal: Flashbang (sticky bomb), Airburst (seeker mine), Tactical link (or security link in the DZ)

Xero will get all his stats ( probably right to the exact number lol).
...smartass...
