Unfortunately does not always seem to work as myself and Howie found out the other night. Will put in the DZ Stories thread to save cluttering up here. When things are quieter, people just bail from an instance when there's vacuous rogue squad romping around. So, no biggie.
Yep but if I by a game I would like to have fun playing the whole game :12_slight_smile: . Why should people pay full price if they cannot get in to the DZ without being constantly smacked down by people they have no hope of killing. I am all for Rogues, I am all for PvP battles in the streets, I am just not so much for bulling by untouchables :12_slight_smile: . I just don't think it is going to do anything for the longevity of the game. If the PvP area was an optional paid for extra with warnings that you have to grind for hours and hours in the PvE part for a chance of even playing in the DZ and possibly surviving then people would have nothing to say against it. That is not how I saw the game advertised. People dishing out the fairly risk free pain will always object to their power being taken away, especially when it has taken many hours to get to that stage. I can fully understand that. I just hope the game can withstand that sort of behavior against newer players without them just deciding it is not worth it and leaving. I hope that doesn't happen and would like to encourage activities in the DZ that are likely to draw player in rather than force them out. The great battle royal idea you had for example.Again, the DZ is a completely optional area. In no way are you ever forced to enter as you progress.
You can argue that the weekly mission requires you to enter the DZ, but the reward is only 30 pxc... a lesser reward than a single vanilla challenge mode run. Completing the DZ portion of the weekly has so far only required killing NPCs as well, and can be accomplished in short bursts going no further than 50-100m from a checkpoint.
Anyway I think we have done this and we just have different views from different angles :10_wink: .
