81% drop off on PC?!?!

As the game appears to have been EXTENSIVELY and EXHAUSTIVELY hacked and glitched and exploited mainly on PC ... I'm only mildly surprised at this. 80+% is still extraordinary however!!

Does it seem to others that this game seems to have been excessively targeted by Hackers though? Sure, other new games have their share but clearly the new code for the game engine for the game is so very easy to break that its just been a field day for people who live only to destroy others hard work.

I can only assume that responsibility for this not only lies with those hacking....for of course they shouldnt even try...but to the Alpha & Closed Beta testers...perhaps this game needed breaking, but in Alpha & CBT, only then could Massive have recoded and delayed release. It just seems clear that either those testers were just "yes men" or their concerns were ignored with an impending release schedule....either way it leaves the dedicated player who just wanted to enjoy the game...with a broken dream.

Well, they have been handing out hacker/cheaters bans, but I would assume a lot of players left because of their presence as well. Then there's the previously mentioned alpha/beta testers (some of whom were destined to leave anyway), players who frequently switch games for others like destiny, etc.

I think it's more to do with being in mid cycle in DLC. When the next one drops, watch that 80% shrink drastically.

I agree. People are leaving because they treated the game like a single player game. As soon as they got to 30, spent a few hours in the DZ.. they quit and never came back. Half a dozen people I knew from elsewhere, did exactly that.

i will admit, i really haven't been in game for some time now. mostly because i have been really busy with real life responsibilities .. but to be honest..the missing dailies yet again was inexcusable in my opinion. they should of had that fixed after the first time it happened.  I agree with xeromaus, once the new content drop hits, more will come back to the game, also in june when the first paid DLC drops. the future is bright with this game, just have to get past the rough spots in the mean time.

Played TDV on PS4 - it was okay because the balance between Graphics, Gameplay and People (especially NO CHEATERS!) were ok. But mainly im playing games on PC ... and since i got a TDV code that came with my new GPU, i have to say, the game is not interesting in any point ATM. In the Main Base the Chat gets spammed all the time, in dark zone are some strange guys, that oneshot me from ~1000 meters with a Shotgun. There "ganking" you and you don´t even see em! It is so really stupid...all the players are completely destroying this game by themselfes! Imho the Game has not so much content, but playing in the DS COULD BE very fun IF the PLAYERS would PLAY FAIR and SOCIAL!

And this is not only a "PC Master Race Phenomen"... - If there were the possibility to use hacks, cheats and co. on consoles, the situation were even more worse compared to PC, that´s for sure. It´s no PC or Console people sh*** talking thing... No, the problem is the pure stupidity of Human players, that have too much money and time, looks like there have no real hobbys, no real fun in life or whatnot... It´s just sad. I thought 99% of the people on this Planet are more nice than bad...but if you look into our "video game generation" this might change from 99% nice to 20%nice and 80% selfish aS******* stinkers :)

It´s just a game exactly because of that, if i were a programmer in the Team i would give a shit about this game anymore, because the people are so so freaking stupid by destroying his own game. Everybodys trolling to Ubisoft and co... but why is the situation so bad? A hyes, because they have so mega bad anti cheat runtimes etc... Just so stupid. Sadly The Division on PC is a complete mess by the guys who are actually playing it. Thank you very much :D
