SEEKERMINES are waaaaay too overpowering for a status effect skill. Seekers should be more focused on applying a long status effect to slow down agents, rather than a one shot kill. This game has gotten so stressful when youre fighting 1v3 and someone in the group of three decides to drop a seeker. Not only that but in Laststand, OMG, SOO MANY SEEKER BUILDS ON THE FIELD, I'm not liking this AT ALL. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this one. I myself am contemplating if I should continue supporting The Division through ingame purchases, until this game is more enjoyable! PLEASE NERF/ADJUST SEEKERMINES FOR PROPER STATUS USE LIKE A CONTROLLER BUILD!

@noisullI dnarG first, welcome to the forums!  Second, this is a fan run site that has no official affiliation with the game and thus we don't have any say in what changes can/should/will be made.  I suggest that you head to the official forums for the game or the game Twitter and post your concerns.  Finally, this is an ongoing issue that Massive has been slowly tweaking and testing to try and fix. In addition to nerfs for seeekers they've been working on buffing some potential counters to see if counters would be better than a nerf.

Is this primarily a console issue? I haven't run into as many problems with seeker mines as most console players have.

Not sure if it's mostly a console issue or not.  Since I'm only on PS4, I only have console experience and I know it's an issue for PS4.

AND - the issues only arise in the DZ - IMNSHO seekers are crowd control, throw that way fight this way.  There is a BIG nerf in the works to drop seeker damage by 60%.  In my opinion that is crazy, then seekers don't do as much damage as a regular grenade.  But hey - the fire effect still provides crowd control - but again the effect takes to long to start (1 to 3 sec).

[Soapbox - stands on it] - I am tired of people.....   Nah   ....  it's all good  :15_yum:

I am much more for figuring out how to beat a tactic.  There are always ways - did you know you can destroy a seeker mine?  Shoot the damn thing and it dies.  Yes you got to be a good shot, use a shotgun.  All Massive needs to do is make the seeker kill box BIGGER so maybe only 1 out of 4 can get through or less in PvP.

Anyway, kinda tired of the seeker complaints - really????  I hadn't noticed LOL.

Seekers are the OP build of choice in the DZ currently...ONE of the main aims of patch 1.7 is to adjust this issue. In the PTS we've been encouraged to test all the new builds INCLUDING seeker mine based ones.

If you've been selected to join the PTS on console...firstly, well done, secondly, go and do some testing and report back to the official ubisoft forums.
