OK I'm going to start off by saying this.

Fighting the last man battalion on challenge mode is a major pain in my ass.

So, I decided to do the underground challenge mission fighting the last man Battalion. When we got towards the end of the mission, killed the boss & cleared the rest of the enemies.

It tells us to " find the report " the way point in this game is drunk af...tells us to go all of the way back to where we started, nothing is there & the way point shows the report outside of the play area.

The whole time we've spent doing this mission & it glitches on us really? Wtf! Damn game has way too many bugs! Dark zone is unbalanced af! You can never get loot & level up without agents ganging up on you & stealing your shit...fun fact these assholes are already DZ lvl 99, so why feel the need of stealing solo players loot?

Not only that these players have ridiculous ass dps & toughness.

If I go into the DZ solo? I should run into solo players not running into a group of 8 players & all they wanna do is go rogue..this shit is frustrating & annoying af ?

By the way you guys need to nerf those shot gunners NPC's....getting shot across the map & dying with 2 shots really gtfoh

Plenty of moments where we have cleared the underground area but no gold diamond to light our way to the next phase.

So we run around, up escalators, down shafts, thu this door, across to that door. All the while, wondering if it has glitch. Untill someone says "over here".

I will have to agree with one point about a bug you mention and that is the GPS in the game it's been a little wacky for the past week or more and had me and friend's run around like chickens with our head's cut off I do hope they fix it but about the nerfing part your best beat contact Massive about that issue it's a pain in a lot of our but's but what can we do about it but right

Unintended realism? lol! Getting lost in a maze of underground tunnels because you're following a glitchy GPS signal as its having problems due to the fact you're actually underground.

.. I say roll with it and make it part of your immersive experience.

Dark Zone issues are caused by humans being ass-hats...not "really" the fault of the game, just the humans using it (not that Massive can't try to fix it if they put the effort in).

Shotgunners .... they're one of the few real threats in non-Incursion play...why nerf them?!?

Not going to lie, I like that idea about the faulty gps because you are underground. It might actually make some of those times down there a little more palatable. I think it's just part of gaming culture these days, people(not everyone, I am generalizing)want to be handed things more so these days than ever. They don't want to work for it. Everything seems to be geared toward immediate rewards, pay to win etc. I am from the old school gaming world where if you wanted something out of a game you had to make it give it to you. If anyone here is as old of a gamer as I am, they might appreciate things like racing chocobos in final fantasy 7, breeding them to get better ones and racing them again all in the name of items(I am simplifying it, but if anyone has done that to get a gold chocobo you know what I am talking about). It takes a lot of time and work to get what you want sometimes, but sometimes the journey can be just as fun.

Bugs and all I still like the expansion. I am currently running a 3/3 split of firecrest and striker just because I can. I like the new armor sets and I want to play around with more. I hit rank 29 last night so I am almost to where I want to be, and then I can actually farm for loot rather than experience.

What would have been nice is if they’d dumped the GPS tracking line thing and just given you a HUD based map to use. Then you had a starting point marked and that’s pretty all you get until you explore the “Dungeon”.

Remember now that you can get any drops from Underground as well...not just Underground expansion specific ones but all drops from previous patches and expansions.

Oh I know. I think people are being a little too critical of the loot for underground without really knowing more about it. For instance, if you run a two phase mission on hard not only can you get 240 gear from the second phase boss(cannot confirm or deny if it's available in the first, I just haven't seen any at all), but you can also pick up 240 set gear from the random chests thrown throughout the instances. I'm sure it's a small(ish) chance, but it's enough for me to say I have picked up several pieces this weekend from doing it. If it scales correctly then that means you can get 268 gear from a challenge mode two phase mission. From a pure loot standpoint this is pretty damn good. Throw on three directives for a guaranteed set piece and loads of experience and you realize how much loot they are giving you down there. And then you have the underground caches. Yet more loot.

What I want to do is run a heroic with at least two phases and four directives on. Guaranteed one piece of 268 at the end and a 229 weapon, plus bosses and crates within.

THIS!!

Know why people don't know this? Because they put in the directive that removes mini-maps and NEVER SEARCH THE DUNGEONS!!! They blitz through at 100mph expecting to get everything from the boss drop or end loot crates only.

This is my biggest issue I have when I run with a PuG. 90% of the time they just want to run through as fast as possible and rinse/repeat.. then they complain at the loot

The fun my part about that to me is that I have seen plenty of chests that are basically right in the path of where you need to go. I don't think they are really hiding them too much, but I could be wrong. These instances are fairly linear,  so how those people are either missing them or not looking for them is beyond me. I think you might have been a little unlucky with some of your groupings. I just don't understand why people wouldn't take a look for it? There are certain places where they spawn, so it's not hard to take a quick look for it.

I guess they are in a hurry for ranks more than they want loot. Guaranteed some of those are the ones complaining about the lack of loot when it's staring them in the face and they just aren't aware enough to realize it. The loot complaints about underground I don't get, but I won't get started on that again. I will bore everyone with another long, drawn out post. I have too many of those as it is.
