Are they don't die  from a grenade and 2 clips of ammo and I used my signature skill to be protected and the guy shoot me with a shotgun ??  Why's that? I'm lvl 36! If is pvp level advantages shoud been disabled !! Like in Destiny, no matter if you are lvl40 a lvl5 can easily kill you. And about levels in DZ where is gonna end? Lvl 1000??

Pissed off player who lost he's first high end loot found in DZ!! (:

Dz rank doesn't have an effect on his power or stats, the difference will be in the gear he is wearing and weapons/mods being used compared to yourself. You can have all HE LVL 31 gear and be dz rank 5 and take down an agent who is dz rank 70, all depends on the gear. After the update gear score is being introduced so you can have a better idea of how strong an agent is. Also the dark zone servers will be split according to gear score when at rank 30.

No they should not disable any advantages one player has over another. I hate that. There would be less point in equipping better gear in that case.

The PVP area is not supposed to be fair.

This is what happens when you give everyone a participation trophy.

The dark zone is unforgiving. And I, for one, love that aspect of the game, there is no straight up deathmatch games or anything of the like, it's a giant risk and reward area, you may get some nice loot but then your job isn't complete, you must then extract your loot to make it safe, I think it's great! Alright sometimes it's a pain in the arse if you are solo and get jumped by a team, but it promotes team gameplay style, I would suggest trying to team up with some strangers to improve your survival and extraction chances. Not all strangers are arsehole rogues some of them are good team mates!

Thanks! Question: I I buy an item or two from the vendor inside of DZ is it need to be extracted or is ready to equip?

Items purchased from a vendor are ready to equip as far as I am aware and blueprints are ready to be crafted upon return to BOO

I think that's the best part. Last night I followed two rogue agents and kept sniping them. They never saw me and I never killed them but I made their game shitty for about twenty minutes. Was worth it to me. Lol

Btw, in case anyone missed it, 161 (gear score) is the magic number for the dz now. Above that, you're lumped in with the top end of the game. Below it, you're not.

I did that with 4 rogue agents that were bouncing around killing solo's. No way I could take them out but I shot at them from a rooftop knowing I had a way out. This was after sending for an extraction and watching them head over to see what they could find. Waiting for them to leave and doing this 2 more times. All to waste their time.

I tried going into DZ 01 and it said I had to have a gear score of 161. I thought that was odd.

Question about this. Is Gear score a fluctuating number? As in does it change with what you are wearing? If so are there counter measures to dumbing down your score to be bracketed lower and then swap? Also if you plan to run multiple sets that may not be your best.

On another note I think the way they made the DZ in this game is very well done. Of course it can be better but its far better than some other alternatives. Other games have world PVP which can ruin some experience if you just feel like relaxing. Others have arena which can be on a level playing field (which is an insult to the player who worked hard for the gear, and is an oxymoron: ie, the game revolves around loot and you cant utilize it against others? Bogus).

This game sections off an area where there is both pvp, pve, co-op, and solo play. Death squads will always have an advantage. Solo players have to play a sneak game which is awesome (except id love to use a knife, or be able to do stealth take downs, or not let everyone know in a whole 2 block radius that I am engaged in combat). Never trust an agent in the DZ who is not on your team. Its a pleasant surprise to get a hand from a neutral agent, but done be surprised if he betrays you after you kill an enemy and get a HE drop.

In the DZ you should be on your toes.

This is the repercussions of the dark zone my man!! It's not supposed to be safe there isn't structure. It's all bout gear for one. But be prepared to get melted from a lower level sometimes. It's a dangerous risk reward area and personally,I love It

I use the undergrounds to maneuver between large sections of the map.  Best thing to do is to just be aware of your surroundings.  Pulse is your friend.

I'm going to spend a day eventually just putting together a lvl 25 suit from pve open world drops, but until then, I can't say for sure. Your score seems to be fluid, but may depend on what you have in your inventory only (my 30 alt still wearing junk gear isn't affected by the things my main has stuffed into the stash), or possibly only what you equip.

I'm fairly certain your gear score is based on what you equip. You can see it change as you equip different gear in your inventory.

I hope they keep the DZ the way it is , just add some more events going on like the Supply Drops.
...as long as players understand that rushing up to ninja the drop will get you murdered by the players cleaning up the mobs, and stop posting rants when it happens (not so much on these boards, but elsewhere it's rampant).
