Hi

so I wish to found out how should I spend my DZ credits if I'm at lvl 29? The vendors are selling stuff that I need only for lvl50!! I'm asking because there is a hint when I enter in the DZ telling me to spend my credits otherwise I'm risking to loose them if someone shoots me! The next question is why I didn't see any high end drop from named bosses in DZ! In all my runs until lvl29 not a single yellow?? Why?

The third question why I have to loose DZ credits and rank if another agent shots me? I worked hard alone for those it's ok to take my looted stuff butt I'm not ok with the other two!

thanks

Well in my opinion and not sure if others will agree. Id say at where you are it depends on your DZ rank. I saw you posted 29. Wasnt sure if it was your character lvl or DZ rank. If you are close to DZ 50...save them. If you are still a bit away...spend them.  The gear will help you on your grind to 50. As far as getting killed as non hostile and loosing DZ credit and xp. Thats the nature of the beast. Thats the risk taking going into the DZ. It sucks yes but the DZ is supposed to be dangerous and lawless. Not finding appropriate DZ bosses to farm could be a couple of things....You are not looking in the right places. Or when you get there they have alrdy been downed. My suggestion, use matchmaking. Being in a group is alittle safer and makes the grind faster. Be patient. Shiney yellows will come. Some days are better than others.  Good luck.

I stockpiled 400,000 dz credits and waited till hitting the holy grail of DZ50. At that point I ran to all the safe houses and bought the majority of the blueprints from the vendors. I would suggest you do the same. I would also say try boosting your scavenging percentage with gear and mods to improve your chances of high end drops (although in a topic I posted I'm not so sure it works!)

if someone kills you, you dont loose that much in credits. the DZ is a PvP zone, there has to be some kind of risk for going in the zone, loosing things like DZ credits, is the risk you face. from the beginning i thought they messed up with the DZ with how you buy stuff there..it doesn't scale with your character at all...when you have a low DZ rank, you can only buy stuff at level 30, and when you get to level 30, you can only buy good gear at level 50.  so basically its pointless to buy anything till you reach DZ rank 50. sure, you can buy stuff at level 30, but its basically garbage. you are better off just buying blueprints with phoenix credits  at your base of operations till you are able to get better blueprints when you reach DZ level 50.

As for getting high end drops. its luck of the draw. some say your scavenging percentage helps but i have gotten drops with only 48% scavenging, while others with over 100% scavenging have gotten nothing. I still think its just blind luck to get a High end drop.  Just keep at it, you will get HE drops

Thanks! My scavenging is at 80% still nothing :( I guess I have bad luck :)

Released info from the patch notes have revealed some changes in the dark zone regarding credits. (Update on 12th April) the dark zone vendor in dz06 will now sell items which you purchase with dz credits rather that pheonix credits that you use currently. This is a big boost to the worth of dz credits!

There has also been a change to the requirement levels in the dark zone for purchasing gear from vendors.

Superior (purple) gear will be available from dz rank 15 (currently 30)

High end (Gold/Yellow) level 30 gear will be available from dz rank 25 (currently 50)

High end (Gold/Yellow) level 31 gear will be available from dz rank 40 (currently 50)

I would highly recommend watching the video linked below for the information of the patch notes from the upcoming updates
