Weapons Worth Grinding For in Beta

im personally not really worried about grinding for anything, just going to play the game. after all, we wont be able to keep anything we get. Have to start from scratch on march 8th anyway

I didn't sink huge amounts of time into the closed beta. Where do you buy superior level weapons. I'm looking for a solid Marksman rifle and was wondering if the specialized SCAR-H for sale in the Base was worth buying?

There is a safe house in the North East Area of the DZ. You cannot access the weapons in there until you are 1) Level 8 PVE (Yellow) 2) Level 12 DZ (Purple) and have saved up somewhere around 7,000 DZ Credits for one of the 2 items. The SCAR-H is not one of those weapons fyi. I suggest running PVE levels and grind to level 8 (2 hours)... After your first time through a mission bump the difficulty to Hard and you will receive 1 Blue item at the end of your mission each time you complete it. You may come across the SCAR-H from killing NPC's, Loot Chests or Mission Rewards. You can also check the BOO or various DZ vendors to see if your instance (DZ server) has one. Similar levels like i described earlier will be needed to actually use the weapons though.  Hope this Helps... See you in the DZ Agent!

Yeah I didn't spend near enough time in the dark zone during the closed beta to buy anything from the safe house vendor. If your on Xbox shoot me a friend request if you wouldn't mind.

This is what I need to do.  I went through the mission on hard in the closed beta and got some good stuff out of it I think. The people I was running with last night didn't want to explore at all.  They were just running all over the place.  I need more time to search for stuff.  In the DZ I found the DZ key multiple times but kept dying because they either ran off or accidentally went rogue, putting a target on my back!  lol

I have now found specialized versions of most of the weapons in the Beta and have finally settled on an ACR and a M1A for roaming the streets and switch my M1A to a Vector or MP7 when I run out of ammo or get in close quarters. My favorite shotgun so far is the Saiga 12 in the dark zone because it reloads pretty quick and really helps dispatch the rushers.
