PC unable to deconstruct

having problem, i have inventory space but whenever i try to deconstruct, it will tell me no materials received. the item is not deconstructed after the process. am i doing something wrong or is this a bug?

EDIT: ok didn't have to do this before maybe after patch, but now i have to mark as junk before deconstructing

Yeah, they were saying there was a bug where an item would be mark as junk
