Thoughts on Darkzone

Right now I only have mine up to the second stage and didn't even know it could do this, but now I know what will be my next upgrade for sure.
You just have to upgrade the Medical Wing a second time and you get to mod Pulse :-) It's in the beta

Yeah I upgraded the Medical wing twice so far and then upgraded pulse one time as a result of that. I'll have to check if I have another upgrade open for an ability that I might've overlooked. The upgrade I have now widen the pulse range and allowed for items to show up from a pulse as well.

You can just upgrade it once. You get to choose between 3 options I believe. Increase the range, Become invisible (from their radar), increase the crit damage. You should be able to adjust this on the fly though

agreed ,this need to be tweaked a little bit. more than a few times, im either shooting at an AI or a rogue agent when another agent walked in front of my line of fire, and needless to say, me and my team went rogue. also, when you are trying to take down a rogue agent, it shouldn't take more than a full clip to take him out after he goes down on one knee. too many times his buddy's revive him and they in turn kill me
Try and remember its a shooter rpg not Black Ops 3. Getting killed faster would defeat the purpose of the healing skill.

If they have red above them then they've gone rogue, so it's ok to shoot them without any penalty against you going rogue.
If they have red don't shoot! Only shoot if they have a skull over their heads. Rogue agents have a skull and injured agents have red. If you shoot red you will become Rogue.

That's not entirely correct. I've seen guys who turn red (without the skull) but when you kill them you've gone rogue yourself.

This whole rogue system is all good but they need to adjust it a little bit. An example: I got killed by some guy, he gets killed as well by some DZ police. a couple of minutes later I come across this very same person. He follows me and I just know he wants to shoot me, so I take out my shotgun and let him close up. He hits me first, and then I put a full blown headshot with the shotgun killing him instantly. I go rogue

As I said, I like the rogue system, it just needs some fine-tuning
Next time bait him into going Rogue by using a week weapon and take 1 shot. He will turn red but inevitably come after you and will end up Rogue. You can love tap someone without going Rogue.

Oh thats what it is when there health bar goes red

Right now all these different color indicators can get really confusing and considering that enemy AI has a red indicator bar above them as well, they should think about changing the injured agent indicator to something different. Maybe orange would work?

Well it's not injured agent; it's an agent who just "love tapped" another agent. Basically they're on the brink of going rogue

Some have said the red indicates an injured agent and others have said it's a "love tap" bullet. I just spent a bunch of time as a group in the DZ and it's definitely a "love tap" stray bullet. Injured agents within your own group will show up red for you though.

I've had this situation several times. I'd like an in between for rogue and normal. Some kind of neutral! Like if you shoot and kill this person, they lose nothing, and you don't go rogue. These neutral people would be the ones who had accidentally shot someone, or had done something briefly aggressive.

Fine tuning would be much appreciated!

Darkzone is pretty cool so far. Whats irritating me the most though is getting attacked by a rouge agent, then turning around and killing them, then getting marked as a rouge myself for 10-15 seconds. It's a major PITA, especially if you're surrounded by a mob of people who were chasing that person down. That aside, the Darkzone is pretty kick ass.

I usually HATE PvP in most MMO type games but I've had such a blast in the DZ over the weekend!

Last night I was running in a group 6 deep. We were just hunting NPCs, collecting DZ creds for out HE weapons. We had one group of 4 rogues who took us down at an exfil. We spent the next 2 hours hunting them down with impunity, Proxy chat is awesome when you hear "I think there is eight of them", "Shit, here comes Phe_nyx again".

We were camping them outside the DZ Safe House (we were amazed they kept re spawning there). We were in a huge firefight on the street, we heard someone come put of the Safe House and proclaim "I've spawned into a shitstorm!".

So. Much. Fun!

You don't go rogue for killing a rogue agent. What's happening is someone is baiting you into going rogue, by simply love tapping you he/she does't go rogue but are on the brink of going rogue. You can tell the difference because there health bar is red but there is no skull next to the name. So don't get baited. Simple as that.

I would like to see some kind of indicator or tell for players that continuously go rogue. Nothing worse than sitting at an extraction with a bunch of dudes showing the surrender sign and then having them all grenade you when the chopper shows up. Perhaps the rogue designation needs to last longer based on the amount of non-hostile agents you attack and not reset after you die. Maybe 5 minutes to start or some sh*t like that. I don't know. Heck. Maybe just have a "rogue" faction...

Interesting, so an indicator that'll tell you that a player has a habit of going rogue. I wouldn't mind something like that.

I'd like to see their appearance change based on this. Maybe the hue of their clothing shades towards red for five minutes post rogue. Just something to give us a heads up.

That being said, I think going rouge is difficult enough. Getting the jump on people is pretty easy, the staying alive is the harder part. I don't think they are going to create more elements that will hamstring players who consider going rogue.
