Strategies for Casual Gamers

At 45 games don't consume my life anymore but I still enjoy them a great deal.  Unfortunately, at this age, I don't game with many people as have other responsibilities.  Some times I do get to team up with my best friend but even then it's infrequent.  We both enjoy the Division but we quickly became frustrated with the games mechanics and the developers intentions.

It's clear that the game developers want/expect everybody to enter the DZ.  On top of that they seem to expect everybody to be playing in groups of 3 or 4.  Add the push to make as many people as possible go rogue as well.

What strategies do you have for playing the game casually without it becoming incredibly frustrating?  Can the game still be enjoyable for casual gamers or is it quickly becoming a hardcore/group game only?

If you are a casual gamer then when in the DZ treat it as such and accept the fact that while in there things are going to happen to solo and smaller groups that can and will be frustrating at times. If you find your self in a Rogue heavy DZ server then just log out of the game completely and come back in and you'll be tossed into a new one. I would certainly not say that it is a hardcore game only, I enter the DZ solo almost every night and can either find a group looking to add one or I am just simply ready to fight back. Always watch your back while moving around and if you notice a group of other agents in your area just take off if you get that vibe they are there to cause no good. Staying mobile in the DZ is the most important thing when playing solo IMO.
