Does any body know if silent stealth take downs will be looked at on this game and why does it take so many bullets to down you're enemy and why when you put a scope on ure rifle why can't you look through it for more accurate shots

The lowest power scope you can actually look thru is the 3.4x, then the ACOG, and lastly the 12x. The holographic sight and red dots only zoom in your 3rd person view a little bit. For Xbox it's activated by clicking in the right thumb stick with standard controls.

I hope there will be more stealth in this game. Silent takedowns and alike, also I'm wondering if a fourth option would be possible. You have your main weapon, a second, and a sidearm. Why not have a knife stance for CQC? I see it in alot of games where a melee attack is strong as or stronger than a sidearm, why not this one. Though it might be a huge undertaking with time and budget. And I'm not saying run around trying to knife people (but you could try for fun), just if you are in a small closed area, and no ammo, aside from a sidearm (which could be weak), a CQC knife stance would be alittle better. You could even buy or find different knifes with different stats on them. Just an idea.

Without crouch or a stealth system, silently taking anyone down would be nearly impossible. Maybe perhaps pulling enemies being cover (assuming they're close enough to the cover you're behind) and knifing them.

In one of the original tech demos for Snowdrop, they showed the guy taking down a guy with a stealth kill.  Dunno why it got canned.

If you could take down enemies in one shot with a knife vs 20 or more rounds from a gun, everyone would just be running around trying to stab everything and each other. That would probably totally defeat the purpose of an RPG team based gameplay system.

I wish they would have aliens crash into the city then epic giant grasshoppers eating the buildings because that would make the game better. Or maybe its pretty good the way it is.

I agree with this ^. The game is a cover-based RPG shooter and unfortunately there is not much room for stealth/take-downs in a game which emphasizes the use of its cover mechanics and gun play. The RPG elements of the game increase the requirement for high time to kills and, as the quoted comment says, a stealth take-down would quickly become the meta in my opinion as the TTK would be so quick.

I for one do not want to see this. I hate CoD crap where I can unload half a magazine into a guy's chest and then with one swipe of his knife I'm dead on the ground. No thanks.

That is why they took out the stealth kills. They planned on tactical firefights being the mainstay and so they cut the stealth because if players could get one hit kills then that would become the most used ability. Everyone would focus on trying to get the one shot in and not try any other tactics against players or NPCs. That is why they removed stealth.
