So I'm running a DPS - semi tanky build. Primary weapon is My Vector, but I can't seem to find a reliable/ respectable secondary.

thoughts?? I was thinking about crafting the Liberator.

Black Market AK-74

Blueprint is in the Base of Operations.

Unless you are running a skill build, it is far superior to the Liberator. Even if you are running a skill build, you can keep crafting until you get the same or similar talents.

Excellent, doing it tonight. How's it handle?

it's immensely stable. I've added a few +range mods to mine, and it barely moves off target on full auto out to it's optimal range (120 feet), even on headshots. Almost all AK's in game are like that, which is  why I always look to equip them when leveling as well.

Yeah, black mark AK FTW. However, a Super 90 is an awesome secondary, its what I use.
I can't seem to get my Super 90 to hit worth a crap in the DZ. You find it worth having on your back when going up against other Agents?

If you are using an SMG (close quarters, chews through ammo) as your primary, you probably want to carry a secondary that gives you good range capability so that between your 2 weapons you can cover off most engagements.

The AK is a great shout - super stable, and only gets better if you use the steady hands perk (blueprint for AK is in the BoO). The caduceus is also very good if you can get the drop.

Avoid the Liberator - it's basically an SMG without the SMG handling or Crit bonuses.

Triple H, I run a similar set up, but would highly recommend running double vectors.  This may seem stupid to most, but its the best possible thing for the way I play. My current set up gives me about 1150 bullets between the 2 guns. With restocks at every interval of PvE, I never run out of ammo. If you have a set up that's mostly dps slightly tanky, I would assume you are up in the action most of the time, playing the angles close to enemies, and not hanging back. I run pulse, and medic w/ damage boost and the damage is somewhat comical IMO from smg's.  Continuous 65K plus crit head shots, about 50% of the time its over 80 on both. Try it out.

Also run the ak74 and sometimes a purple scar-L.. My Scar L actually has higher DPS but less damage in close range then ak.. Otherwise a purple firstwave m1a. My primarily is HE vector..

I got a super good roll on it with talents. When I get on later I'll post a screenshot.

If I can get Cassidy close enough to the player, they don't have a good day. Big "if" though...
Thats my other problem usually the only way to get close enough is to get next to someone is to not be Rogue and blast them. Even then most are usually very cautious since the last update.

....especially when you're toting a shotgun...

Well generally when someone is going to go rogue they're right in front of you, so basically always watch em and get ready to pop that signature skill snd plug em with that shotty.

I am running 250k primary dps and like 150k secondary with 105k-119k stamina build.

I like the vectors as well. I can tell you I have been through over a hundred challenges and nothing comes close for me than a high dps Classic M1A with 20 rounds and quick reload speed. Sometimes I forget to use my 250k scar in a challenge. That's how good the high impact snipers are. You can zoom in with a 15x optic or shoot it like an smg. Your choice. I also have the warlord which is an ak rifle and it's great but honestly nothing will beat a precision sniper IMO with high dps as secondary and run an smg or precision assault rifle as primary. Get those 204 guns. :)

1st person I have seen say that they have a new named weapon! How is the warlord?

A few folks don't like it. I like it. 60 rounds and solid dps out of the box. It's stability is a little blah. Same as the vector but it's gun rise can be noticeable. Scar L is a little more stable and you can keep your rounds on target easier just like the vector. Both are 204 weapons.
