Season 2 Challenges

Yep, nup. Buckley's chance of getting any of these this week. :2_grimacing:
Gee.

For TF:

- Go to the lake at Montuyoc, head to the Rally Point just right of it on the map. Down the hill, that is where Supply Heli side mission usually would be at. If you have done it, then check it if it's still spawning or not. If yes, then snipe everyone other than the Veteran. I suggest you to provoke them until they call a backup before running over the Veteran. The backup usually would bring 1 or 2 Veterans along.  I think doing provoking backup to call for Veterans is faster than looking for a base with Veterans.

For Solo:

- #1: Check out southwest portion of Espiritu Santo. There's a village near a river and close to Rally Point. There are Santa Blanca residing there and they have a helicopter.

After that, you can try flying towards the west above the forest. Close to the Monte Puncul border, (if you have a map on) you will see a helicopter. Steal it and fly back to Espiritu Santo before destroying it. For the last one, you can just drive back to the previous town and see the heli have respawned. Alternatively, you can look for a convoy and ambush the guardian chopper.

- #2: Fly over to Monte Puncu, find a fairly small lake with trees around, a (strictly) SB camp/village, and a helipad. You can find at least two Veterans there. You can try to provoke them for backup. What I mean by provoke doesn't mean you have to be found out. You can set a C4 somewhere and remotely blow it. They will look for you around where it was exploded.

- #3: Open your map, find San Mateo Base. Now look towards the left hand side, you will see a road leads to a Barvechos Rally Point. Across that Rally Point, there's a gas station. Kill everyone, kidnap the Veteran, stow him in a SB car parked and make your way to the San Mateo Base. San Mateo base apparently is very big, but there's a part of the base, some sort of garage/vehicle maintenance area because it's filled with cars, helicopter, and whatnot. There's an office kinda deeper inside with a Veteran sitting there, so there's your next kidnap target. And as a precaution, try to not going too far away from the car with your hostage inside. Lastly, blow them up with explosive drone.

Try again. lol.

I thought they say we still can play the Challenge as long as you are online when it goes live for the first time?
Tried, and no successfully notifications appearing. Not too confident about how well it works offline,

Try with different internet connection? Tether from your mobile phone for example.

I don't see a complaint about server for PC.

Season 2 Week6. This week's rewards is yet another paid stuff.

SOLO:

#1: Make your way to Uma Marca town. There are a lot of people and you might see them walking close to each other. So I see two ways of doing this:

a. Find a group of SB, plant a C4 nearby, and throw a Diversion Lure to bring them in.

b. Find a car to stow up to 4 person (3 passenger seats, 1 baggage). Find a potential guy to be the fifth, plant a C4 on the car, park it, and lure the last guy, then blow it.

#2: Destroy 4 SB Vehicles with Heli missiles in Malca, with Extreme difficulty.

I don't know if there's a heli with missiles around Malca, but for me, I went to northwest Flor de Oro Combat Base (see picture below). Steal a gunship and fly towards the west to Holy Malca Base. This place has a lot of personnel and also will be your spot to complete the third objective. So kill the necessary target for now and grab 4 SB vehicles and park it somewhere in the desert, then destroy it with the Gunship missiles.

#3: Headshot 8 SB from 250m away, no dying.

That's pretty much it and this can be a real b*tch. Holy Malca Base has way more than 8 person there. Many of them can be in a no good position from your vantage point on the hill. If that's the case, find your way to the church rooftop and snipe from there. If you happen to miss the shot and get HUNTED. Then act fast and leave immediately away from the zone or hide somewhere they wouldn't expect to search at.

TF Challenge

Kill 25 SB soldiers (doesn't have to be Soldier as title) with Mine in Pucara.

You can do the good old kidnap and blow. I personally get bored with that method, so I will find a Convoy, plant 3 mines, and wait for them. There are 2 guardians, each holds 4 (I think?) and the Convoy truck will be attended by 2 guys. So that would be 10 guys per successful trap.

Currently we are having a repeat Seasonal Challenge, which is the Yeti challenge with exact same objectives.

The Community Challenge still gives the Yeti Patch. I remember @BROGOD said the PC community missed it last time, so it's time to get it now.

Other rewards are Tier Points

I was wondering hw they were going to do it this time. But same spot?

I thought they said they were introducing a few new rewards, or is that just the Tier Points they already mentioned.

@Oh. daesu @BROGOD

Correction: It's actually TIER ONE BOOST. You get a couple of it. Each lasts one hour.

Basically it works like the XP BOOST. You can activate it by accessing the menu from the Character Stats screen in the Loadout.

My bad.
Now that's not too bad. I get a decent amount of XP as it is at my Tier, just a pain because I need so much of it to progress. A booster would work wonders.

Yea. 50% for you (and 25% for teammate).

I'm not sure whether doing mission or jumping base to base is better.

This week's challenge is yet another Yeti hunt repeat with Tier 1 boost as all the rewards.

Yaaaay (in lifeless tone)

I know it's a bit of a yawn now but appreciating the tier boosters. There was about 1000 shotgun kills left on the yeti when I last logged in.
