I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick and tired of getting hijacked by rouges. Can we not get a option to remove friendly fire, so us people that are totally f^*ked off with rouge agent groups. They are spoiling gameplay.

I know what you are talking about. The runs I end up with having no problems are more seldom then those where my DZ run ends dead by (lately) Ganker. The only real problem with the DZ is, that you can't perfect your gear without the high level BPs you can buy there after a long grind to level 90 and enough DZ credits are farmed. That is the only real downside to the DZ. You can't get the really good stuff without it. Unless you are very lucky with your RNG drops. But I guess 204 weapons do not drop that much if at all in challenge missions or elsewhere outside the DZ.

That the game forces you to go into the PVP zone if you just wanna make progress is what I do not like. Any other MMO gives you the option to avoid PVP if you do not like it. The Division does not. And they did not manage so far to seperate the DZ further then <160GS and +161GS. So you can meet other agents in the DZ that have far superior gear to yours ang get insta killed. They should try to balance that out, so that if you happen to get attacked by the same amount of players you at least stand a chance to defend yourself. I know, good tactics and so on can still mean that you do not stand a chance in an encounter with evenly geared players. But that has not yet happend to me. Either the players dealt damage like hell and you could barely react before you hit the ground or you meet some cheater who killed you by teleporting and 1 shot killing you with cheat programs or through walls or some other BS you can't defend against.

On PC you will have to live with the one or the other cheater. It is after all an open platform with too many options to take advantage of. And as long a cheat useres pay money for their cheats someone will be there who provides those to them. No detection engine so far could totally negate that. I do hope though that they will brush up their detection software some more or upgrade the game to a server side calculation which can't be that easily manipulated. That could help the PC players in my mind.

I have frustrating days as well but I don't think removing Rogues is the answer.

But to hijack the thread a bit, I think there are different types of rogues that bother me. The ones that just rogue for gear and are complete wusses about it. the type that just stay around you not doing anything until their friends get there or you turn your back. If you are going to be a rogue, man up and be a rogue. Don't be a rogue for 1 minute then just run away until the timer goes down and you can "trick" someone else. And if you have run into the same guy 5 times and they are fighting back and you completely outgun them... then let them be.

I think the bigger issue is design. I feel that </=160 and >160 should not be the only two instances of the Dark Zone. They should split it by all the gear brackets. 200+ should fall into another bracket than someone with all 163's... especially after how long the incursion was bugged.

Rogues aren't "friendly", and friendly fire IS turned off (your group can't hurt you). You don't have to enter the DZ (phoenix credits can buy enough gear to run incursion until you max out), but if you do, understand that it's not meant to be fair, easy, or anything of the sort. You WILL be killed by other agents, you WILL lose what you've collected, and you will NEVER have a "perfect" build that can't be killed or one-shotted by someone. It's the nature of the game/zone.

Of course they are going to run away though. As a rogue, at some point you have to run and avoid other agents or the timer just sticks there forever and eventually you will die. What they need to do is adjust the timer.

Make it then when you go rogue there is an initial period of time that damage you inflict boosts the timer, but then it counts down no matter what happens after that.  OR only agent kills cause the timer to go up, but it constantly counts down. Getting shot and shooting agents would not freeze the timer.

Something like that needs to be done and more rogues will stand and fight. As it stands, there really is no other option than to run or you never will beat the rogue status.

Yeah,I don't think anything needs to change for the rogues, just that there was more instances so that you didn't have 161 guys getting jumped by 202 guys. I like how they have it but break it up so there is less "bullying".

But mostly, IMO, it was the Incursion bug that really threw DZ out of whack more-so than anything else.

to be fair, the 160/161 line was likely created due to the ease of upgrading your gear/weapons/gear score at that level. You're fully ready for vanilla challenge modes, and capable (though not ready in my opinion) of running hard mode incursion. Your gear score should be climbing daily, if not hourly.

If it was further divided, say, every ten levels, the zones would be empty for the most part, further decreasing the PvP aspect, until suddenly you had a singular area awash in rogues at 200 or higher.

From the beginning on, we all knew you shouldn't go into the dark zone at or near the minimum level if you wanted to survive. Use the time you're on the lower end of the bracket to gear up in PvE.

I think the brackets are the best way to avoid excessive ganking of new players. Other than that, it is up to us to play pvp as we like. Whether some a more pve players running the gambit. Or two geared up gankers on a manhunt, or even an 8 member squad on the prowl.

I think it should be easy to go rogue, so any squad might get ideas of doing it, not simply geared up gankers. We should be staring each other down at a supply drop. Or running down another squad, simply because they grumbled about something over proximity chat.
