"Rogue button"

Hey everyone, so I was thinking of a "rogue button" like "fable" had. If none of you guys played fable, all it had was an in game interface option to switch to rogue if you wanted to attack someone. There have been a few times where either someone has run in front of my bullets to cause rogue status or I've just flat out accidentally shot someone. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah, that does happen sometimes, gotta really be careful to watch your fire. I wouldn't mind a switch of sorts that would allow me to hit "friendlys". Would definitely cause less accidental rogue status'

that would be a good option, but just from what i experienced, the use of proximity chat has worked real well in that regard. one guy accidentally shot me, i was about to light him up and over chat he apologized and said it was an accident  and we went our separate ways. you will get the occasional group that just wants to be rogue and kill everyone, but there is no mistaking them...it just seems more times than not, people are being civil in the DZ.....for now lol

I highly doubt they would implement this great idea because they aren't seeing as many players going rogue as they'd like. They said it in the latest update.

While a nice idea, i think it defeats the purpose. They want this game to be more tactical and careful. You have to use cover, and form strategies to get through harder areas. Likewise you should watch where you are shooting. In a real battle you wouldn't close your eyes and fire blindly. I think they want this game to be accurate and allow some thought into the game play. Other shooters you can just spray and pray and that's good enough.

I also have noticed that you can land a bullet or two with out going rogue. So it gives you a chance to read and react. I could see them adding a little more of a buffer before you go rogue but personally i like having to pay attention to what i am doing.

I have to agree with Sam here. Accidentally going rogue adds to the suspense and flavor of the game. If everything went perfect 100% of the time the game would lose its flair and its spontaneity. I find accidentally going rogue ends up being a little fun while everyone tries to chase you while you serpentine and med kit for your life.
