PVP in this game is a joke

Firstly thanks for the level headed replies, I was expecting to be shot down as some kind of care bear.

A little bit of background. I have 182 hours logged in the game, I'm DZ level 54 with a gear score of 186, mostly I'm a PVE player but given half a chance I can hold my own in a fight.

I have no problems with the PVP style, losing loot or getting into a fight with marked rogues, at least I know it's coming. What I find extremely aggravating, more than anything else, is losing XP and dying on exiting a safe house/entrance to a bunch of guys who think it's entertaining to kill people who do not have a chance to fight back. That's not something that skills, talents or anything else can be used to combat.

I've no idea what the solution is other than some kind of safety net/buffer/short invulnerability around the spawn in points

The short answer is: there isn't a solution. Giving players a buffer zone just moves the camping back that much further. Letting you see whats coming before it sees you encourages players to kill when they come out, causing the inverse issue.

You're always given two options on respawn. That 3 or 4 man squad camping one spawn won't be at the other, and the one death you took to learn where they are barely takes anything away from you. It's not a frequent enough occurrence to warrant a change at any rate, so playing around it is likely all we'll have.

You play on XBox at all? I see you have 3 different platforms you play on.
i have the game for PS4 and PC, just recently (xmas time) got myself the xbox one, so don't have any friends on that system. i have about 2 hours in game on PS4 and about 120 hours in on PC. so the PC is what i have been on. the controls are more precise than with a controller
