I thought I'd hit up this forum to see if anyone would be willing to take to the time to offer suggestions on my current objective in "The Division." Min\Maxing a character for the dark zone's beginning player bracket at level 14. From what I know about the game it seems like a good place to hang out on console.
I'm trying to see how far I can upgrade the BoO within that player limit. Survivor Link looks doable (as is one if not my main goal) if you avoid all the side missions and intel (besides the three in Brooklyn) and stick to the low level missions and events. Accolades are something I tried to avoid as well, but it is hard to hold back... Eventually I decided that I wouldn't worry about it once the choice to attack was made.
Of course since XP is what your trying to avoid during this BoO upgrade period. I'm not going to upgrade the security wing until I've reached the point to enter the DZ to avoid the Experienced Agent Perk you get with the Situation Room.
DZ03 has contaminated level 3 areas... So I'm thinking Protective Measures will need at least two upgrades... Pharmacy(Shock and Awe, Battle Buddy talents) might be the one to avoid even with the low 200 point upgrade cost? But how far into the DZ can you go at player level 14?
Each wing has a Hazardous Materials Perk (upgrade DZ inventory 1 slot) but what abilities would you give up to have that room?
Obviously there won't be any armor cap reached etc. but I was surprised on the variety of gear and weapons that opens up at this level. So I thought it might be worth the effort to focus on this mid progression objective instead of running for end game build. Any big picture issues I haven't considered or should be aware of?
