@GZEE Yeah, my tag is pretty unique and I've been using it for like 20 years.  I sent you a FR on PSN and it's good to see people from S7 on.  Most of those guys are on XB1 so we've only got about a 1/2 dozen to run with on PS4.  Did you use a different handle on the S7 forums?

@who-dat I was trying to run DZ before you jumped on and matchmade like 3 times and just kept getting grouped with asshats, so I went to something that was easy (gathering Intel) and I could use later in the day.  Ended up going narcosleepy and fell asleep waiting for my kid to go to bed and never got on last night.

I was thinking the same thing. Also, decided to look up some videos and found that HVT mission almost guarantee new higher ranked gear. Figured I'd stop whining and man up and rank up. So there's a third option I guess. 

Well, up to you. But I don't think manning up and merely ranking GS up are the answer to win here.

It's all about the gear formula.

Exactly, I was just trying for randoms yesterday because my friends weren't on.  Typically we run HVT or missions, so I wanted to save those for the end of the day.

The bracket is related to how high your gear score "could" be. Best wishes!

I haven't seen a friend request on my PS4. Are you using a different PSN ID? On the S7 Forums I had the handle "S7 Jeezy". It changed to that when S7 founders came from BBF.

I know. I am seriously trying to find the right combo of gear. I will post my build on the proper thread as soon as I figure out which best suits me.

Anyone know the formula of counting DZ GS?

My highest weapon is GS204. Some are 182 and 163.

Four gear parts are 240. One is 229. Another one is 268. One backup gear part is 214.

Stash is completely empty. I'm GS222 on screen. But now I'm placed in DZ 231+.

I'm betting that 268 gear is the culprit. But I would like to know the formula if anyone who knows it could share.

I think this is a glitch from 1.3 that they're still fixing.  I've been in 231+ since 1.3 dropped but I just got the 229 weapon and 268 gear piece that would put me in that bracket last night.
