Not sure if this has been posted before but i noticed the gear score for this is 220.

I see very few people with this gear score and it looks like that you would need everything 240 just to get that score any ideas on how to hit this magic number

yes, this has been mentioned before, no worries. But it says "recommended gear score of 220" ....doesnt say you cant playing it with a lower gear score, it will just be harder

As far as I know you have to grind Falcon Lost on challenge diff. to have a drop chance for a 240GS set piece and the weekly reward is one guaranteed 240 GS set item. So after several weeks you can be lucky to have enough 240 GS pieces together. IF you manage to defeat the challenge difficuilty that is. I have yet to find a group who can regulary win hard mode. Not even thinking about challenge difficuilty at the moment. :10_wink:

220 GS would be 2-3 pieces of 240, 3 204 weps, and the remainder of gear at 214. They've given us 204 weapon purchases for phoenix credits (primary, secondary, AND sidearm), the rest is up to you.

Right but we can just settle on something just because it has a high gear score, it's got to be better than what we already have, which sadly to say, they rarely are.

very true (except for the sidearm, that thing can be whatever it wants to be as long as it isn't dragging my GS down). The AUG they offered is a nice weapon, and despite the arguments to the contrary, the SOCOM marksman rifle they offered at the same time has been wonderful. Each week, you get 2 more options, if you don't like what you see, wait a bit and look again.

I still cling to my BMAK at 182, but if i needed to get my GS up to enter a run, I could do so just by snapping in a 204. It wouldn't be a perfect 204 by any means, but it's functional.

Yeah still can't get rid of my BMAK...

But my issue is will it be like falcon with 220 gear score min or will it only be req ????
No, its a recommended gear score, and you can play it without 220. At least that's the impression I get from "recommended gear score 220"
