Agreed. A sticky somewhere at best with the "official song" tag, or a small text link somewhere, but not on a loop in the background.
Ran a guild called Never Surrender in Lotro, and made a page with the Stan Bush song of the same name running on a loop in the background. It was uplifting as hell the first few times, but it eventually became a reason to not go to our guild page...
