Dark Zone (rogue)

Tom Clancy should make a dark zone (rogue) for those that want to do the rogue thing because everybody doesn't want to be forced being killed while trying to attain the perks in dark zone. This becomes to annoying because people are killing just to kill and it interferes with leveling up and collecting loot

Part of the game. As frustrating as it is at times. I get as angry as most when I get killed in the DZ as a solo and a full group ambushes you without stealing your loot and just moves on. But......not sure I'd change the game.

Waaaaaaain waaaaaaaaain, don't go in the DZ if you don't want to reap the consequences
The consequences being 4 guys who feel tough going after a solo who is running away and posing no threat.

But yes, you know what you are in for before you go in. Have to be careful and watch out for those tough guys. Keep your distance.

The issue is the level cap for me at 99 dz until tuesday there is nothing to do but go rogue to be honest and with the servers as they are it might mean there is only a few players in there and to be honest its great to be chased around by a big group lol

You do just have to remember that the Dark Zone was meant for Rogue activity.  I can understand the frustration, but it's meant to be tense and meant to have high consequences for both being a Rogue and not being a Rogue, but also meant to bring great rewards for those that succeed in such a treacherous area.  For some people, that frustration is not something they're looking for in a game.. and so the Dark Zone just isn't meant for them.  The good news is, especially after tomorrow's update, you'll have a lot more options in the game if the Dark Zone is frustrating you.  Plus, you'll have more of a chance in the Dark Zone since the highest Gear Score you'll be running up against before you're 201 is a 200GS.  That should help considerably.

Meh. I keep going and Ill keep going in. I will just never understand the enjoyment of going after a solo that poses no threat when you are grouped up as 4. What challenge is that?

My issue is less with the game and more with the mindset of some players. Just yesterday I had a guy shoot me an invite and when it was turned down (was in a group but lagging behind due to a sick dog) I was killed. Sure its within the vision they had of this game and I wouldn't change a thing about the game but.....why would you do that?

I also don't know how I got melted so fast with 80K health, 65% armor mitigation and I popped survivor link. Just a couple shots from the SMG and I am done. But it happens I guess.

As for the first bit, it's not about challenge, killing others gives xp. Any xp is good xp.

The melting was likely due to a combination of factors, from being marked with sentrys gear talent (fixed tomorrow), to stacking damage with talent glitching (fixed tomorrow), and any other number of glitches/exploits players are using atm to get an edge they can't survive without.

The reckoning is coming for those guys...

Will the weapons in the BoO reset with tomorrows update? I've heard that but have not seen anything concrete....

Bummer. I finally saved up and was hoping to get a 204 weapon this week but just don't like what is offered.
That's ok though, 204 weapons will be guaranteed drops in the incursion on challenge, as well as having their drop rates increased from all named elites.

Some balancing is in this patch. Natural balancing because more loot will be available outside the DZ, plus Rogues will have to be more wary of "cut the rope traps" set up by cunning Agent teams.

All this said, this is the very nature of open PvP. Hasn't anyone played DayZ (stand alone)? The nature of it being open PvP pretty much KILLED the game...why? Because with only virtual consequences people will troll and will act like penis' ... in DayZ it quickly became that any PvE "dangers" were inconsequential and the only danger was meeting other players. Zombies? pfft!

Open PvP brings out the worse in most people, and by worse I mean violence for violence sake (virtual violence obviously). Killing agents because your bored...because you can...because...why not?

If you enter the DZ this is what you must be aware of. Go in with FULL KNOWLEDGE or don't go in without people watching your back. I think the two extremes of the DZ are perhaps the most civilised. Pre-level 30 and DZ06 HE GS and DZ Rank. These seem to be self-policing (to an extent) as the players are far more evenly matched and the risk vs. reward is so low that going Rogue for no real reason isn't that much of an economic option.

I want an open PvP zone, how its balanced currently is still evolving and I think things will continue to improve as more content gets released. Issues we have is players going in perhaps with expectations that players will all be working together to battle the environment there...other games with similar environments have long taught me that this isn't the case...players will look to kill YOU first and often ignore any gain from either PvE around them or even anything you may have. Its not about stealing gear at all.
