I just wanted to put this out there, see if anyone else has noticed this.
I believe there are just way too many ammo/restock crates lying around the city streets, inside the buildings, sewers, pretty much everywhere. Not only it simply doesn't makes sense, it kills the realism vibe while playing. This is specifically worse during the missions. There is literally one ammo crate after every in-mission encounter.
This level design choice/flaw really takes away the sense challenge and suspense from the gameplay experience to some extent. We can all agree that managing resources in rpg/mmpo games is something that the players do actually enjoy.
Dear Devs, please, at the very least get rid of some of those in-mission ammo crates. They make the mission -and the game as a whole- too safe for its own good. Because tactical and strategic play style loses its necessity, when you can simply go balls-out, all guns blazing, "Just Cause" style (No offense to those folks).
Just let the players actually do worry about ammo and consumables a little. We love it, trust me.
Cheers
