I was watching the Goth/Broman/Lollipop/Hamish super stream this morning. It was slightly pissing me off seeing the chats complain that the the TTK was too high. I like the longer TTK in the Division. My buddy summed it up the best "so people want to leave destiny and play the division in hopes that it plays like destiny?" from what i saw in the chat it seemed like the answer is yes. Also watching the streams was making the day go longer so i decided for my own sanity i should stop. currently listening to music.
That's exactly right. Basically people don't know what they want and if you give them B they want A, but if you give them A they want B.

Halo has been in a bit of an identity crisis since post-Reach because of that, people want it (4 and 5) to play like classic Halo but if it does it gets accused of not evolving / being the same and they want something different lol

i'm eagerly awaiting being able to play in 10 hours.
I know the feeling.  Decided not to go Rogue and actually go to class today.  Should be playing in about 4 hours.  Got to watch a little of Boomslangg's stream in between.  Probably goign to burn through my data plan watching streams on the ride home.  The wait is killing me!

It's as good as i remember the game being. My buddies and i ran the MSG mission on hard at least 3 times, as well as a bunch of the side missions. Mainly leveling and gearing up prior to entering the DZ. I forgot how much fun the shield first aid combo is. Also the marksmen style rifles have a really good feel to them. Can't wait to be able to play again on saturday.

Played for about an hour before work. I think I am going to like this game. I have to admit that the controls and feel of the game take some getting used to after playing Destiny for so long. But its a refreshing change.

Only got to rank 6 in PvE and DZ. I'm going nonstop tonight though. I can't wait to play with a team.

Awesome game. Been playing for 4 hrs rank 7 dz rank 6. Totally dropping Elder Scrolls Online to commit to this game. ESO has game breaking buggs thats been active for 2 yrs. Please dont make that mistake.

played about 5 hours. did just about everything you can do in the beta, and over all, its an awesome game. Just want to point and laugh at all the nimrods who declare "downgrade" smh..looks great to me.  my only gripe so far is that they need to adjust some things in the DZ. Too easy to accidentally go rogue and its too easy for a group of 4 aholes to camp a door to the DZ. before you even have time to react, you are down on one knee. but, its nothing game breaking..had a ton of fun playing and very much looking forward to march 8th

Yeah it looks good (PS4) but it does have a little more ash (white covering) over everything than I expected, especially on outlines of characters and objects. I bet the PC doesn't have that problem though.

Was it ash or snow? It was snowing a lot on the ps4 side.

I've managed to max my DZ on PS4 and hit lvl 6 before returning to XB1.  There is a big difference in lvl of play between the consoles and between those who played the alpha and those that didn't.  There are some definite tweaks needed to the game but it's been a lot of fun. I tested the dz solo last night and took out a few Rogue door campers and was able to extract loot a few times. It's doable just not as fun as rolling with a team.

well, like i said on here yesterday i played 5 hours on PS4 yesterday..it looked great on PS4 and definitely a lot of fun. needs some graphic tweaks in some spots that kept getting washed out with shadow. but over all very impressed. But today i played for a few hours on PC. looks like i have to roll with the PC version on march 8th. it looks absolutely stunning set on ultra.  controls are very tight. the shooting mechanics are very good.  Nothing at all wrong with the PS4 version, but i found the PC version more to my liking. oh hell, i might just get both, to play with my friends who only have the PS4, and make new friends playing on PC :)

New here so first hey guys hope everyone's having fun in New York and The Division seems like it's going to be a lot of fun, but I'm curious.

Just had to ask a community what they think about this feeling almost like a mirror image to The Last of Us?    I didn't notice at first but now after some hours it feels very similar at very least.

Don't get me wrong I loved that and so far the division seems like it's going to be great, just not quite what I'd expected.   Beside the somewhat integrated multiplayer everything is almost identical.   The pulse, gun and electronic parts, the graphics and movement, it just feels like The last of us 2 New York to me personally.  I'm not trying to cause an argument or saying its a bad thing even, if there's a game to mirror The Last of Us is a great choice, just wonder if others see this too.

No it's not snow. I used the term ash because it looks like a thin white coating covering objects, especially from an angle. It shows up mostly on your characters outline. Next time you play take a look at your characters jacket sleeves and you'll most likely see what I mean. Also long distances have a white wash out look that's more prominent on console than on the PC version.

Last of us clone huh... I don't see it. First off that game was very much a stealth game, the division if a all around shooter. I haven't played last of us in years but I'm not feelin it.

It does have a little bit of The Last Of Us feel to it, not the single player of TLOU but it's multiplayer side. Like when you're down and crawling to a teammate for help. The crawling animations are pretty identical.

Sent you a friend req on uplay

I can't stop playing....... 48.5 hours of game play thus far   :hehe:

Seriously though, I cannot wait for the full release. The worst part of playing the Beta is waiting until March 8th to play again. I thought it was very smooth and only had a few issues. Which is impressive given the high-demand with the volume of people playing IMHO. There have been some glitches - DC'ed a few times (but able to come back in at the same spot with my loot), chat issues with not hearing people while in team chat, agent ghosts, etc. However, I think this is going to be a great game. I hope the developers take the feedback to address/add a few items like they did in response to the Alpha.

Damn! 48+ hours! Nice!

And yes I agree. However there are rumors of an Open Beta in the middle of the month. So we may just get to play again before release.
