It is, at least, a really good PXC farm!I was streaming on Twitch last night and thought about titling my stream Not Lexington CM to see if I could get viewers, you know, people thinking what is this idiot doing that's so important he isn't running for Barrett's Chest. Of course, I was running Lexington CM to farm PXC so I could buy a Liberator from the Special Weapons Vendor.
Had this happen 3 times, 1 time we lost our loot because the random asshat killed her in the balcony. The other two times we all died and restarted at the checkpoint and she came down where we could kill her. Supposedly then maintenene on 12/1 or 12/2 was fixing this, but it didn't.One nasty ... glitch ... on a run last night. Barrett spawned way up in the bleachers (one of the upper balconies above the stage area) ... she didn't come down, got sniped and ... we realised there are NO stairs or ladders up to the balcony! LOL!
Yep would mirror that. I had massive issues on the PTS when they changed the difficulty for Lexington trying to stay by the lift when coming out on to the roof. If you run down and stay by Ramos then they get funneled down to you and there is a fair amount of cover so you can play some angels to pick some AI off and still be covered from others. Don't climb up where the sniper usually is as they can pick you off too easily.Had this happen 3 times, 1 time we lost our loot because the random asshat killed her in the balcony. @Juliet Tango I'm not interested in putting in the effort to try a mission solo on challenge (I play for fun and not really challenge), but have you tried going all the way over to the left by where Ramos is? That's where I go in a group and it forces all of the enemies in front of you. The bad news is you have a shotgunner and sniper on top of to take out and there's no exit from that spot except thru all the enemies.
This is where I usually go in a group but I remembered there was a sniper above me, a gunner and pretty rapidly a machine gunner comes into that area. I haven't tried that area in solo mode but will give it a bash. Playing on the PS4 and trying to throw a turret into a specific point such as a roof can be a right pain because by the time you have got the aim on target you have a guy behind you drilling rounds into the side of your head.Yep would mirror that. The seeker mine is fairly good to confuse and delay them as you run down (drop half way to Ramos) and the turret is a force multiplyer and you can throw it up on one of the small roofs int he direction of where Ramos is facing. The Machine gunners cannot get up there and kill it. If you also throw on a backpack / chest piece (forget which one has the Talent) which gives health based on skill damage you will get a flow of incoming health from the turret as well.
I did this on challenging for a change as was fedup with all the shield guys and it was doable but tough. I had a fair few tactical retreats and the grenade spam can get silly.
I am sorta all Lexington'd out after grinding for quite a while and still getting no special drops. I will take a bit of time out to go back to working on Dominion again for now.
Agreed, fine tuning the turret placement can be time consuming but if you throw a gas grenade or use the gas seeker mine before hand it will buy you some time. This is where I usually go in a group but I remembered there was a sniper above me, a gunner and pretty rapidly a machine gunner comes into that area. @DeadSockPuppet I don't usually try and solo challenging missions but was just getting fed up with joining a good group and ploughing through the mission rapidly.
