Well this is my first 2 characters I been playing sense the start of The Division I finally learn how to get my screen shots from Xbox One to post here  I like some advice I am still picking away grinding for some better gear to level it out for my style of play

Where does the SHD beanie drop from?

Gear related, I'm still figuring that out but with 1.5 the HE drops are so plentiful and seemingly powerful its possible to make a solid build with JUST high end gear and bypass the "Gear Sets". I would suggest you try and get one 3 or 4 piece for your toon at 241 though for now, using GS items as individual parts isnt using them efficiently.

My thoughts exactly.  I've seen a lot of people fully maxing out the 6 named 1.5 HE pieces and just running those.  That aside, I would agree that running 6 random set pieces or x # of HE and x # of random set pieces really isn't going to be a good build.  The key of set pieces is that they're a set so you have to have 2, 3 or 4 to get the real bonuses of the pieces.

Wildlands clothing DLC. It and two others (Splinter Cell & Siege) vanity sets were free with pre-orders of Underground. Not sure if they're available for purchase.

A lot of my set's where from pre-order and season pass goodies I put the R6 set on my chick toon and the beanie was med 1.3 loot for the weekly quest kill 30 of these collect a 30 of them etc etc etc. I actually been running random items and seem to be getting better stats for my play style then prior to 1.4 patch some of that new HE is pretty awesome

Its like the LMB gear, I have a helmet but have yet to get any of the rest of the uniform to drop ... I have to wonder what weighting there is for vanity drops. Guess I have to farm FL

I don't remember the last time I saw a vanity item drop.

I think your rite DeadSockPuppet when I seen the new weekly they didn't offer a part for finishing all the objectives like they did prior to DLC or patch 1.4
