Can't Find New Gear?

I'm in WT 4, 229 gear and weapons. Can I and where could I get better stuff? I've been playing Daily Missions, Weekly HVTs and the DZ but still nothing better than what I have drops. Any Suggestions?

Um, I just get a group and we roll through the map hitting all the LZ mobs and bosses and have been getting fantastic drops.  Last week or so I played some DZ01-DZ02 and got some ok drops, but nothing above the quality I was getting in LZ.  Today I played some UG and and was getting loots galore.  I played a mix of 1 & 2 phases and everything from 1-5 directives on hard and was getting pretty decent 229 drops.  

Youre probably hitting about the same amount of content as I do, it's still just chance.  We get more loot drops now, but it's still subject to RNGesus so you just have to keep sifting through it.

Try the roaming bosses in Open World to start with...respawn is now 4hrs so you can do a rotation but I'm surprised you're not getting improved gear. Of course once a build hits the peak of optimisation at any point getting "better" gear is a very personal opinion.

Yeah, that's where I'm at with my TA toon.  She needs ton increase her dmg mitigation by 10-15% which leaves me looking for new pieces of TA gear so I can either get higher armor ratings or recal for higher ratings.

Here's hoping a DLC adds "legendary" style named drops to the system..."Ultra-Tech"? Something for those with optimised gear to collect that gives them a further tiny boost perhaps? 

..oh and can't be bought at a vendor but still drop anywhere ... if you are VERY lucky.

Possibly with 1.5 and WT 5.
