Seemingly so, lets me honest this HAS to be better than World War Z!

An intelligent global disaster movie which feels like a whole series of 24 with more gunplay perhaps...gotta love that. I'm sort of thinking that it might be a more cerebral film, more Andromeda Strain than 2012, less about the action and more about the human side of it...which is essentially what the game is to be honest. Sure we run around and gun masses of enemies down but its never just about that.

I would rather see a 10 part Showtime series or something instead...
Yeah, with you on that one. 12 50min long episodes, make it a deep, intense thriller with short, heavy and gritty shootouts and violence.

I'm thinking most of the plot takes place in the BOo, or following leads, investigation, CSi type stuff but with sudden bursts of edge of your seat Heat style street shootouts.

Only drawback is they couldn't tie down NYC streets for such prolonged periods perhaps?

In my "version" of a screenplay the focus would be shifted from the Agent taking the direct action and would instead focus more on Dr. Kandel and the others you rescue and what they're doing in the background to gather the information you need to get on your missions.

You could even use 24's split screen style as you have Dr. Kandel chatting away to the Agent in the middle of a fire fight.

because he can do gritty and dirty (Southpaw), look out I'm caught in a disaster (Day after Tomorrow) and tense thriller (Prisoners) ... guys got reach!
I guess... I don't know why I just don't like him. Just a quick note, its not because of broke back, I loved Heath Ledger before that olsen twin killed him

Never even thought it would be. I'm not a fan either to be honest but I can see he's got a range of experience of playing characters that would fit into the genre this film would fit into very nicely.
