...or just after you finished a long, serious battle in the streets with a massive spent-shell count, some civilian appears from behind cover and says "was that a gunshot?".I also find it funny when a civilian is in the middle of a warzone. During some of the missions I just find them running around inbetween bullets and flamethrowers, it's like "what the hell are you doing here?"
HEEEEEYYYYY!!!! ANYONE GOT ANY BOOZE?? I'M ALL OUT!!!!!1) The two guys having a conversation about eating rats.
Civ 1: "Sorry man, I couldn't stay couped up in there any longer. I know I said I'd stay put but I couldn't"
Civ 2: "Its ok, hey, how about something to eat...I got something good right here" (holding a handful of dead rats!!)
Civ 1: "You've got to be KIDDING!! I'm not eating that shit anymore!"
2) When Civ's get confused and although the gunfight ended a while back you get one running back and forth between two seemingly set points endlessly.
I'd also like to know what the random Russian or Chinese Civs are saying ... bet its juicy!HEEEEEYYYYY!!!! ANYONE GOT ANY BOOZE?? I'M ALL OUT!!!!!
because screaming out a 2nd story window for random alcohol in a disaster area run by gangs seemed a good idea...
haven't found translations yet, but it's usually a voice actor playing a joke when they don't bother to give subtitles. Long history of that in movies.I'd also like to know what the random Russian or Chinese Civs are saying ... bet its juicy!
I take it as a friendly warning, but it could go either way depending on who's listening I guess.Or that one line the yell at you "There's a lot of heavily armed assholes out there!". Everytime I hear that I shoot up to his window to make him go back inside. :71_smiling_imp:
By the way: I heard a friend of mine say, that in the German translation that line says a warning of a gang roaming the streets. Is it really meant this way in english too? Does a native speaker take the line as a "friendly" warning of armed gangers?
*lol* Ok...I always took it a bit personally because at the time I was the only heavily armed person on the street. :22_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:I take it as a friendly warning, but it could go either way depending on who's listening I guess.
(it warms my heart when ever they shout it out. Which sounds so wrong)"Ohh no they got Alex!"
This Alex guy must have a shocking kill/death ratio in this game....
*lol* We need another "Alex". :4_joy:(it warms my heart when ever they shout it out. Which sounds so wrong)
As homage to South Park, they could have it as Kenny.
I had the exact same thing happen. So yeah.....
