So I know it's random and stuff but my gear score is 222 and I still can't find or get a 229 weapons and I've tried everything from dark zone to underground but still don't get anything better than a 204 weapon so if anyone could help me out that would be great I'm a good team player and anyone who would let me join their squad or team or whatever and u get 229 weapons drops and wouldn't mind sharing hit me up (add me on ps4) psn name is BigBoss_Steel73. For the DZ, it's pretty random, but if you're looking for 229/268, you need to be getting supply drops or working DZ06 for your best chance at those items.  

For UG, the mission drops will only get to 229/268 if you're running harder difficulties (challenging or better) and running multiple phases and directives.  

However, you can get 229/268 items from the level caches by equipping your highest GS item for each weapon and gear slot before opening the cache.  It doesn't matter whether or not you'd normally use those items when you play, just equip them.  The game looks at you're GS and gives you gear that should help raise your GS.  If you can equip 240 gear pieces and 204 weapons, you'll probably get 229 weapons and 268 gear pieces.

I know all that but I'm not powerful enough to take on the npcs' in dz6 so that's why I would to have people who have higher gear score to help me out
