Sometimes your regular crew aren't around and whether you lone wolf it or even if you matchmake, you need to be able to take care of yourself. So what does everyone run in this scenario? I've only just hit level 30 so I'm not an expert and am still playing around with stuff, but here's mine:
Stats Focus: 1) Stamina 2) Firearms 3) Electronics - mostly you need to stay alive, second is killing things, your skills have to take a bit of a backseat.
Weapons: Marskman primary, LMG or SMG secondary - Solo I would rather keep my distance, but you still need something to deal with rushers.
Abilities: Pulse (Tactical Scanner for extra damage), Support Station: Ammo Cache (for ammo, healing, and skill cooldown), Tactical Link (for more damage) - I really like the pulse for the extra damage and visibility of enemies, which can help you plan your approach. The second ability I have been changing around, I feel like you need something health based and originally went with smart cover with healing, but it heals very slowly and is useless in a pressured situation. I've switched to the support station which is quicker (you could argue life support for revives would be better), but I am still wondering whether straight first aid for an immediate chunk of health back would be better. Tactical link is in there at the moment but you could use any really I think, I need to play around with these more.
Talents: Steady Hands (reduce recoil in cover), Repo Reaper (30 rounds of primary on sidearm kill), Tech support (kills extend skill duration), Adrenaline (medkit at full health for overheal) - Steady hands is so powerful I almost always use it. Repo reaper is great with a marksman primary that only holds around 100 bullets anyway, very easy to restock if you weaken someone then finish them off with your sidearm. Tech support is good to keep your support station going, though you would want to switch it out if you went with first aid. Adrenaline gives you an option to get ready to go on the attack, but I feel like there might be a better option here as I often forget to use it.
I'd love to hear comments on this build, and see what everyone else uses.
