Would suggest you keep the 2 lone star pieces in your inventory at all times and go with 4 Predator and 2 Final measure. 

When at a safe house or equip your 2 lone star pieces to get the 100% ammo capacity bonus. Then swap your gear back to normal and you keep the bullets

Thanks for the advice on that.  Not sure if I'd run x2 final measure but I could run x2 sentry or x2 striker.

The 2 piece is totally your choice I run the 2 piece final measure as I have a tanky build and the +50% exotic damage resilience is great to combat the cleaners. If you are all out DPS then I would agree 2 sentry or striker would be good.

 
Just collected 4 pieces of Predator. I love the bleeding effect.
Working towards this myself, the description confuses me a little. Can you confirm does the enemy bleed for 100% of the 10th bullets damage or 100% of the total of the damage from all 10 bullets?

Yeah, my current character is going more of the DPS route so I'm looking for those attack buffs.  

The alt I'm working on is a ways from end-game but I'm thinking tank for her.  Probably 4x Lone Star and then either 2x Striker (+20% armor DMG) or 2x Final Measure (+50% exotic DMG DR) if I run LMG, shotty, double-barrel side arm or the ideal setup might be x2 Predator (+20% optimal range) if I run 3 shottys.

So I guess it's the total amount of damage delivered by the first 10 bullets
So if the target bleeds with 100% of accumulative damage then they basically die very quickly! I'm thinking an average of say 25k base damage and 60k crit with a crit chance of 40%.

4 bullets crit at 60k = 240k

6 bullets base = 150k

this would result in the target bleeding for 390k damage? This talent sounds like a beast to me, can't wait to get my hands on 4 good pieces of Pred I currently have 3 240gs pieces

bleeding speed isn't as fast as you think it is, just keep that in mind.

 
You are somewhat of a veteran/yoda/god amongst this forum. Have you personally tried this gear set out? If so what was your opinion?
I have yet to get my last piece, but I've seen it/felt it being used. The bleed is slower than it would make sense to be, but it DOES bleed for ten bullets worth of damage. Bear in mind as well that it's the damage done by those ten and not the potential of the ten, so using it against players is FAR slower than using it against npcs...unless you're quick with a marksman, or hit twice with a shotgun for an average of 5 pellets each shot.

It's my goal to make a build from predator and final, but that 4th piece that's worth it in predator just eludes the crap outta me.

That's a good idea to use a shotgun to force the bleed effect quickly if you are close quarters due to it scattering bullets, 2 rounds from a shotgun magazine (if they all hit) would be enough to start the bleed effect. Will have to test that out when I get that 4th piece, have a great set of 240 gloves which I think have 40% crit damage, 6% crit chance and 12% damage to elites rolled on. Waiting on a nice holster for Pred as I have good rolls on my final measure chest and knee pads 

 
We've found 2pc Final Measure is near a must for a hybrid build and/or tac build. Those looking to go pure DPS however, we're finding 3 Sentry / 3 Striker to be a beast and that is what our 2 DPS run with. That is pure DPS, being careful and staying close to the healer(s) when engaging flamers. This is strictly PvE DZ 5/6 farming. 2 of us running 40-55% dmg to elites with 20-35% armor dmg and sticky flash. All crit hit chance mods have been stripped from all guns except for gloves, everything replaced with CHD and HS dmg. We rely fully on our tacs 60% CHC being up 95% of the time. He never dies unless we're roguing. Our DPS health is 85-95K with 75% mitigation. 350kish toughness. We run with a 550K toughness 4pc tac wearer with 140k HP / Max arm / 70ish% exotic who keeps us up and buffed. We absolutely roll through DZ 5/6 now. Our 4th man tends to be a hybrid DPS/sustainability toon. Level 34s drop like flies and the proper smart cover, pulse, and heal combo makes fairly short work of rooms now.

Curse you being on PC, your clan and ours would have some EPIC battles.

From my personal experience, it does make a difference when fighting towards NPC. 

It's not really that significant however. But that's probably because of my crappy weapons and low DPS stat.

And yes, the bleeding effect seems slow (like losing HP once in 2 seconds, I think). There's no damage indicator, so all I could do was to stop shooting and look at the enemy's HP bar.

Should I record a video for this effect?

I know right? I've been getting those stuff from HVT, sold them, and now I decided to just keep them and almost have a full set already..

I think my best bet is to try it out for myself and see how it feels, I am more tanky than I am a dps anyway so it may not be worth it. This game massively comes down to personal preference 

 
I thought "sod it" and equipped all the Lone Star gear I'd collected (three pcs) and at least in PvE its acceptable ... not sold on the set yet, this might change once I collect a forth part but with a stamina/toughness of Sub-50k ... I still feel very fragile (current set has armour mit of about 55%)

It is still nice getting gear though.
