Weapon damage stats via character screen?

I'm looking at my weapon damage via the primary attributes menu in my character screen under inventory. I swear to god this number changes every time i look at it. Ill go look at it, it will be 4k then ill back out, go back in immediately without changing anything and go back in and it will be 11k or 9k or whatever. I don't understand this. What am i looking at?

Just troubleshooting:

Are you changing weapons before you look again?

Did you pop any skills before looking again?

Basically did you literally do anything at all before looking again?

Didn't change a thing. I literally backed out of the window, and went right back in. And none of my weapons are that low on raw damage. The lowest is my pistol at about 10k. So i don't get it.

You know, I'm not entirely sure why.  Unless I'm missing something, those numbers shouldn't be changing like that unless maybe you're switching weapons or something.  I'm sorry I can't be more help on this.
