Just watched this now and how is your weapon so stable? Which build are you running? I'm currently trying to put get some strikers gear for added 20% stability as my FAMAS is all the over the place compared to yours
Pretty sure I have another video giving more details of the build at the time which might help you - just have a look on my channel.

However, the best way to keep it stable is very quick bursts... 3-5 rounds only .. in quick succession. Not sure if you noticed in the video when I was in combat but I fire with my finger constantly on and off the trigger.

The FAMAS is fine stability wise for, say, the first 7 rounds but rapidly loses all control...even close range if I'm emptying a magazine (64 rounds) once it gets past to 40 rounds fired it is LITERALLY all over the place and pretty much uncontrollable!

Its a medium to close range weapon, I'd keep your G36 or get an M4 variant if you get a good roll for the long work. Unless you can run a sniper rifle of course. I personally can't use a sniper rifle though..hopeless with them.

My current build is different again and I’m currently in flux and not settled. In the video I was running a 4pc AlphaBridge set and I’m experimenting with High End only but I’m not happy just yet still.

….then again, it’s what makes this game interesting for me.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I tried firing the FAMAS in short bursts but between bursts my cursor isn't getting enough time to reset back to the original aim point. I'm having to burst, wait a sec then burst (this is in mid-longer range). I just picked up a military g36 with ferocious, focused and rolled destructive onto it also. I find this is a lot better for my gameplay as I like to sit mid-long range away and work from there where I can. I'm gonna try the FAMAS tomorrow with a hybrid sentry and striker build so I get the added 30% accuracy from sentry and 20% stability from striker. Do you know if the 15% damage talent on the FAMAS is affected by the stability bonus of strikers or is it only affected by weapon stability and accuracy mods?

With regards to running a sniper rifle, I only like using one on certain missions such as Hudson refugee camp, time square power relay or amhersts apartment.

I was actually going to suggest going this way, the bonus on the FAMAS states "mods" so any stability and accuracy on Gear shouldn't impact it.

In other news, gone back to an AlphaBridge build...I feel a lot better about it but with only 800 rounds of ammo things could get tricky in long Underground runs.

I don't remember where I heard this, but one of the podcasts I listen to confirmed this to be true.    So, the Sentry/Striker build would work, but you have to ask yourself if you want to build your gear around a single weapon.

@quinch1199 cheers. I'll try this today and see how it works out with FAMAS. If I try a 3 piece sentry/ 3 striker I will get not only the added 20% stability but another 10% enemy armour damage which will work out better than 10% headshot damage. I might try a striker/predators mark so I can get the added 8% ar and 8% smg damage as this is what weapons I usually run with.

@DeadSockPuppet I'm using sentry/hunters faith build just now for extra headshot damage as usually I like to sit a bit farther back in a group and pick npcs off from a distance with an AR. I wouldn't mind just jigging around with a build to see if it works better with FAMAS. If it doesn't it might be an improvement on my current weapons.

@quinch1199 I've now tried a 2 sentry/4 striker build with FAMAS, G36 and an LVOA-C. Found it still a bit difficult to control the FAMAS after using the other two and the LVOA-C was the best to control and has a good rof. I could add more stability items to my FAMAS but I like my ar loaded with headshot damage as it cuts through the enemy much quicker hence having such a stable weapon is a must. I've got a magazine on my LVOA-C which boosts the rof to just under 900rpm. It came with competent, ferocious and focused. I tried to roll brutal or destructive onto it and accidentally got rid of focused instead of competent, didn't double check which one was which before I re-rolled. Now got competent, ferocious and brutal. I would prefer destructive but it won't appear in the re-roll for me but having some extra headshot damage isn't a bad thing for my style of play
