So I had a question I could go into details etc but I'll try keep it as short as possible. Of the guns you have used what in your opinion what is the best gun in the game and if you want Why?

I've tried a lot of superior and for me it's the military P416 Assault rifle, at least for assault rifles anyway. Why = it doesn't have any outstanding stats but it is extremely well rounded and just accurate.

i think if you skip ahead a minute or so it's all pvp dark zone gameplay and there's good examples of its accuracy.

i wanted to keep this short and I feel like I'm missing loads of details I wanna put but also that I've already gone on way toooo long so hopefully we can get a nice discussion going and see what weapons people think are the best, why and make some comparisons and share some opinions in a friendly manner after all it's just our opinions :)

I got a blue P416 from a Darkzone vendor in the closed Beta, and it became my bread and butter. As you say, it isnt the most spectacular specs it got, but it is stable as a roc. I had a Police M4 with higher DPS, but I couldnt hit the broad side of a barn compared to the accuracy with the P416. It'll probably be my goto gun as well when the game releases.

The best gun, at least for me, was the M1A.

Good range, great damage, good magazine size (and upgradable), good rate of fire, and still able to hip fire spam at close range with considerably good success.

I only picked it up just to try out nothing about it screamed to me this is a good gun but I'm with you I'm gonna be on the look out for one of these until I get one once the games out.

In the marksman rifle pool I 100% agree with you m. Especially about the hip fire, when I did a vid on it for the closed beta I looked and like 90% of my kills had been done in 3rd person. Just a very nice combo between damage and speed and the kick isn't as severe as the scar.

I agree with all the above. I picked up a P416 late on Sunday and was really happy. Sad that I didn't get one before then but now I know what to look for. The M1A was also a goto. I will be looking for the upgrade to the SOCOM version at launch. It can be seen in the IGN Marksman video.

Side arms I do like but I'm not decided on a specific one yet. I just can't wait until we have the full game so we can take time to look for more weapons and keep them.

My friends got a UMP on the last morning of the closed beta and they both used a blue mp9. I loved my mp7 but I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some more smgs

320 Black Spindle. lol.

... I'll be really interested in a PDW which is 10-13 inch version of an AR/M4 Frame. Also really looking forward to a good DMR, like the Jade Rabbit. jk

After looking at the speadsheet done by ItsGamerDoc here. Another I will be looking for is the Lightweight M4 it has the same gun model as the Liberator and I am going to assume the same accuracy and stability as the other M4's.

I picked up a specialized P416 and with decent mods it was a monster. It didn't kick straight up and when I found an ACR that had better dmg I switched to that. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for either.

I do have to agree the M1A was the most versatile marksman rifle. The Scar-H pairs better with an SMG rather than an assault rifle since they are too similar. The M1A and a assault rifle felt like you had most of your distances covered.

I agree that the m1a was a good combo with assault rifles. I played a little differently from most people where as most paired a marksman or shotgun with a full auto for versatility which is all good I went with a assault rifle and smg. I liked to get up close, chase people down etc and always be firing at a high pace. Saying that I did have usually 2 other people with me who had a shotgun and marksman rifle but also when I played solo it worked well too so I'm probably gonna stick to the assault smg combo which is a shame cuz I love marksman rifles but if it works it works
