Question. When I get the blueprint for say, the liberator. When I craft it for the second time does it craft at a higher level than what I crafted it for the first time? Or does the level I build it at based off my DZ level or gear level? If not do I have to get the blueprint again? The current liberator I have is level 182 and it looks like if I try and craft it again it'll be the same level.

you are basically rolling the dice when ever you craft an item. you will get different talents, different damage. if you look at the blueprint, you will see something like 8000-9000 damage for example. that means every time you craft that item your damage will be between those amounts every time you craft it. you will also see question marks next to the talents on the blueprint so you don't know what talents you will get till you craft it.,, so no, if you craft it again, the chances of it being exactly like your first crafting attempt is very slim. and no, you don't have to get the blueprint again, you can re use it over and over again as long as you have the materials to do so. some people re roll an item 10 times in a row till they get what they want on an item.

Well said. I will add though that I have in few cases rolled an item below the blueprint parameters as far as base Weapon Dmg goes. Etremely dissapointing, not sure if it's a bug. only happened maybe twice in the 20 weapons I've made. Also the named weapon blueprints have the Talents set. Liberator, Tenebrae, ect. Those weapon talents will not change, base Dmg can

thats true, thank you for the correction....i havent been able to get any named weapon blueprints yet,  so i didnt realize that

very odd. thanks for the clarification. I always assumed those numbers were based off what you currently have.

That is correct. The range you see is based off your firearms stat. You will see a lower range if you lower your firearms and a higher range if you increase your firearms.

You guys think blueprints/crafting makes the game better or worse? On one side, I love that I can spec it out to my skillset. But on the downside, people don't get excited about drops or the first craft. More people are probably disappointed after a drop/build than they are happy.

"Crap... no brutal talent!"

In my opinion blueprints make the game better. I do not want to be limited to just running around hoping to get the gun I want with the talents I want to drop.  And yes, crafting is VERY much out my control but at least I can roll the dice with the weapon type I am after and not a random LMG I wouldn't want to use.

In short, I feel like I have a bit more control and I like that.

Somewhat on topic. There are a few weapon talents I have been seeking after and I have never seen after I craft the weapon but only when it is dropped ie. Coolheaded and Balanced.   Can anyone confirm whether these are talents that can be on a crafted weapon or are they only on dropped weapons?

Thanks for the response guys!

They can appear on crafted or drops. I've crafted at least one weapon with every talent on it, and the same for gear.

I like the crafting option. I'm still learning it a bit.  But since most of the yellow drops I get are trash anyhow it at least let's me use those drops towards something I actually want.
