Question about challenging mode incursion

Having completed hard mode incursion, in what seemed like a pretty easy run, i was just wondering what the typical requirements are for a successful run? I'm talking: GS, DPS, Health & Tech.

This is a question for people who have completed the challenging difficultly incursion.

DPS lies, throw that right out the window. Find a boss in the DZ like Animal (heavy LMG) and put him down in a clip, or at least close to down. Your damage is good enough.

If you're wearing anything lower than 182, stay out, weapons or equipment. 191+ is preferred.

Health needs to be 75k-80k+, with armor as close to capped as possible (capped preferred). These guys hit hard. Less than that and you'll get one shotted, a lot.

Someone in your group needs good electronics, but not everyone. 10-20k is fine for most, but one should have 30-45k (or 22500 wearing 4 piece tacticians authority).

Past that, the walkthrough posted in strats has a lot of good tips for challenge in the walkthrough itself and below it added by other members;

In challenge mode, you can 'get away' with 65kish health and not still get one shot, granted your dmg resist is 62%+. You should be able to mitigate ONE 'out in the open' shotgun body shot. But, only one without sig or smart/mobile cover. Pretty sure sub 60k results in one shots. Having 75-80k is great to help with a myriad of other dmg that comes your way, but if you're reworking all your stats just to get the HP, know that you'll get 2 shot wrecked by a shotgunner if you are somewhere in the 65-100k mark no matter what. This is the reason why HP in challenge mode isn't as important as most think. You will get 2 shot if you're low on the HP totem poll or if you're at a tanky 100k. Still 'try' to eventually hit that 75k mark, there's a million other reasons to have higher health. But just for the challenge incursion, you can cheat by 10-15k and not have it make much of a difference. Just don't go below 60ish K ever. Just something to think about.

The 40% damage mitigation from a medkit (talent tree) and it's full heal has allowed me to survive two shots a few times at 84k health and 65% mits...but it isn't by much at all. I'd guesstimate that I lived by 1-4k health, judging by the bars.

70k + health and 65cap you'll be able to survive with good communication. You'll get one shorted from the snipers and shotties with no buff regardless of your health

When they connect just right or full-on, yes. Staying mobile helps, and generates the mitigation help from On The Move on kills as well.
