Quick question from a starter

Ok so I've owned The Division for a while now, but really got into it about a month ago. The thing is that I somehow failed an encounter and I now need those supplies to complete the medical wing upgrade. Does anyone know if I can get them another way? Thanks in advance.

You can retry the mission. And there should be other missions /encounters. Any green makers on your map?

What level are you? Have you completed all the story missions?

There is a message board at each safe room (and in Hudson just before you exit).  Make sure to stop there and get the side/encounter missions.  And yes you can replay any failed missions for the supplies for BOO upgrades.

So, each time you enter a safe house - talk to the dispatcher and read the message board.  That will "unlock" all the missions in that district and make the visible on your map.  When I was leveling solo - I would try and hit the encounters and side missions first.  Then I had enough power to take on the main missions.
